A Lovely Visit to a New Office of My Friend🌸
Yesterday was one of those simple days that makes you feel light inside. I went to visit my friend because she opened a new office. The office was not brand new anymore, but I still had not visited her. Life was busy, and I could not find the right time. So yesterday I finally went, and I was really happy I did.

In the morning, I wanted to bring something nice with me. We planned to have a small breakfast together at her office. I decided to buy pastries, because there is a good bakery near my home. I know that bakery well, and I did not want to miss it. I bought poğaça and also a few other bakery items. The smell was warm and comforting, like the smell of a good morning. Before webt outside I gave milk to a cat :)

I also wanted to buy flowers. Flowers change the mood of a place so fast. There was a flower shop near her office, so I stopped there too. That area is special for me, because my old office was also in the same building before. When I walked around, I felt a little nostalgic. I looked at the flowers slowly, like I had all the time in the world. There were many colors: white, red, pink, yellow, and soft purple tones. I took photos for the Photo Lovers community, because the flower stands were so beautiful. I even smelled many bouquets. Some flowers were fresh and strong, and some were soft and sweet. I bought a flower in a light purple, lilac color. I cannot remember the name of the flower right now, but I remember the feeling it gave me: calm and gentle.

When I arrived at my friend’s office, I noticed something important. There were no flowers inside. Not even one. So the flower I brought became the first flower in her new office. That made me smile. I placed it carefully, and the room immediately looked more alive. It was like the office started to breathe. My friend was happy too, and she said it added a nice energy.

Then we started our breakfast. We did not have a big dining table, so we used the coffee table. We put paper towels on it like a table cover, and we made a simple breakfast setup. It was not fancy, but it was real and warm. We prepared everything together. We had fresh vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots. We had olives. We had cheese. We had pastries and bread. We also had tea, of course. Tea always makes the moment feel complete. We talked while we ate. We talked about work, daily life, small problems, and big dreams. We laughed, and we also had quiet moments. It was very peaceful.

I stayed there around two hours. The time passed very fast. After breakfast, we kept drinking tea and chatting. I looked around her office and imagined how it would look in a few months. New office spaces feel like empty pages at first. Slowly, people fill them with stories, plans, coffee cups, notes, and memories. I felt proud of her, because opening an office is not easy.

Later in the day, I met my other friends too—my old coworkers. We went out for lunch together. It felt so nice to see them again. We shared updates, and we remembered funny moments from the past. Sometimes you don’t notice how much you miss people until you sit with them again and talk like no time has passed.

After lunch, I went back to my friend’s office again. This time, we wanted coffee. We had not drunk coffee earlier, so we said, “Okay, now it’s coffee time.” I also brought a dessert, and we ate it with the coffee. The dessert was really delicious. It was rich and sweet, and it matched the coffee perfectly. I enjoyed it so much that I want to buy it again from that bakery. It was one of those tastes that stays in your mind.

The weather was rainy and cloudy, but it was not too bad. It was cold, though. I was grateful because I wore warm clothes. The sky was gray, and the streets looked wet, but the day still felt bright because of the people I saw. In the late afternoon, I left before public transport got too crowded. I wanted an easy ride home, and I got it. I returned home comfortably, with a calm heart.

When I think about yesterday, I remember small details: the lilac flower, the breakfast on the coffee table, the warm tea, the soft sound of rain outside, and the sweet coffee break later. It was not a big adventure, but it was a very happy day. It reminded me that friendship is like flowers. When you bring it to a place, everything looks better.
