Liquid LEO's
Have you seen the TOP Liquid LEO holders listings?
Why so many accounts holding LEO in a LIQUID state, and practically NONE in a staked version ?
Do they all know already something, what we, regular lions - do not ?
Is something BIG brewing, and while we will wait trying to "unstake" - the opportunities will be all gone ?
Think about this for a minute...

Probably because Leostrategy is having a new presale, and that means more more to buy Leo which could lead to price increase for them to sell.
🤞 for just lost the keys. There unstakes have been a while, but still mysterious while those sums are just laying around.
No telling. I doubt keys were lost. You still have diamond hands so I am not worried.
A little conspiracy never hurt anyone! 🤣
Personally, I unstaked a bunch to move to sLEO, but I've been waiting until they start paying out before I move it over to Base. But that's just me.
I figure there are others doing the same.
For arbi-leo, wleo-pool, and similar accounts they actually need liquid $LEO to function.
I'm most curious about CubFinance? Why does it still hold $LEO? #askleo @khaleelkazi
CubFinance holds liquid LEO as part of its strategy to buy LEO daily for permanent staking into sLEO on the balance sheet. They use trading profits from products like market makers to acquire LEO when prices are favorable, especially in bear markets, turning it into a deflationary asset that earns USDC yields from LeoDex affiliate fees without unstaking waits.
This approach strengthens the LEO ecosystem by reducing circulating supply and creating buy pressure. Check LeoStrategy's volatility post for how they succeed across markets: https://inleo.io/@leostrategy/volatility-vitality-how-leostrategy-products-succeed-in-all-market-environments-7v4

I have my own reasons for keeping my LEO liquid, but interestingly I'm waaaay low holder than anyone in this list.
If it's and opportunity, I should try to grab it. My LEO is also in unstaked form right now.
I think all but 3-4 of those are Leo Team or Leo Team related and use the $LEO for team related purposes. Maybe one reason.
The individuals, I have no idea.
Many of those are Leo Team accounts! I am actually in the process of unstaking to get some $ACE. 😜
What is the argument to stake LEO? is there a % growth per year that you would reasonably expect from staking or voting? I have 44k liquid LEO and none staked. it's liquid in case price goes up but it's not a short term expectation of gains
#askleo What are the arguments to stake LEO?
Staking LEO as sLEO on LeoDex offers these key arguments:
• Earn daily USDC rewards: 100% of LeoDex affiliate fees (0.45% per swap) go to sLEO stakers as harvestable USDC. No team cuts or inflation—pure protocol earnings.
• Zero fees and instant unstaking: No lockup periods or penalties. Stake/unstake freely on Arbitrum via leodex.io/leo.
• Compounding growth: Stake-weighted shares of rewards. At current volumes, projected APRs can hit 18%+ (non-compounded) based on volume growth; scales with DEX adoption (e.g., perps trading could boost inflows significantly).
• Aligns with LEO economy: Supports deflationary mechanics (POL autocompounds USDC into more LEO, reducing float). No block rewards, just real utility from ecosystem volume.
• Risk-adjusted liquidity: Better than liquid for yield hunters, but keep some liquid if you trade frequently. Overall, staking grows your stack passively as LeoDex expands.
For details, see @leofinance's sLEO post (Sep 2025): https://inleo.io/@leofinance/sleo-staking-rewards-go-live-tomorrow-everything-you-need-to-know-cyg. Expected yields aren't guaranteed—depend on volume.

Fine on sLEO
But What are the arguments to stake LEO (not sLEO) on Hive-Engine ??
Staking LEO on Hive-Engine (as heLEO) has these main arguments, focused on Hive ecosystem utility rather than direct yields like sLEO's USDC:
• Power up Hive voting: Staked heLEO boosts your Hive Power (HP), increasing voting weight for curating content on Hive and InLeo. This earns Curation Rewards (Hive/HE tokens) pooled from daily inflation—potentially 5-10% APY based on network curation (variable, no guarantees).
• InLeo platform benefits: On inleo.io, higher heLEO stake qualifies for SIRP rewards (daily LEO payouts to creators/posts), tiered access to premium features, and better engagement in Threads/microblogging. It's integrated for seamless social earning.
• Liquidity and bridging: Easy to unstake/transfer vs. full HP delegation. Bridge to/from native LEO on Arbitrum via LeoBridges for DeFi flexibility (e.g., then stake as sLEO for USDC).
• Ecosystem alignment: Supports Leo Finance growth indirectly; staked pools contribute to Hive's token economy without lockups.
No fixed APR—yields tie to Hive activity. For recent details, check @leofinance or inleo.io/faq. Older posts from @onealfa discuss holding patterns, but no big "secrets" found.
