Ungrateful soul

Ingratitude comes into picture when people Fail to appreciate the favour that's done for them. There are many ungrateful human beings in this world, after helping them you will regret helping them.

We all know it is good to help others when they are in need of our help, and we should not expect anything in return. While some people are used to paying favour with wickedness because they don't appreciate what is done for them. On the other hand we have people that are very grateful when you help them in one way or the other.

Have had so many experiences of ungrateful human beings, this one happened recently with me and my mom.

There's one woman living beside my mummy shop. This woman's husband has been in prison for one year, her husband has gone to prison before my mummy and I know them. She was living with her husband's family, her husband's father and her elder sister.

Her husband's sister has not been treating them very well since her husband went to prison. Before her husband went to prison he's a responsible man, he took care of his family. Her husband's sister used to enjoy that time with them. She will not complain because of what she is gaining from them. Since her husband went to prison the woman has been suffering from her husband's sister all because of nothing to eat .

My mummy came into the picture as her life saviour. She has three kids and she's not working. When my mummy heard her story she felt pity for her, so my mummy promised to help them out in feeding her and her kids.

My mom started to feed her and her kids with the little we have, despite the economic situation. Whenever my dad sends money for our food and other stuff, my mom will divide the money into two and give the woman some of it.

Doing the No cash is very hard and difficult to survive then becoming hard to eat, there's money but no where to collect it. I'm sure some people Will relate to this no cash season. My mom did not discard her in that situation.

We are all managing ourselves, I thank God that our three meals are always complete everyday.

His woman always talks about how her husband's sister maltreated her with her kids that she can never forgive her.

After some months her husband's sister knew my mum had been the one taking care of them, so she went to report her to her father in law. The old man came to meet my mom to appreciate my mom for what she has been doing for them.

Her husband's sister was not happy at all.I guess she wanted to see them suffer. She started to abuse her in front of my mum and other people.

After six months her husband returned from prison. She was very happy that day, everybody was happy for them. She explained everything to her husband, how my mum has been there for her and how his sister has been mistreating her with her kids.

As a very good man he came to meet my mom with a teary face thanking my mom,he showed appreciation.

One month later her husband went to Lagos to seek work,and my mum's job also started

So weeks later she started showing my mum her real self, she started gossiping about my mum telling people that my mum was a stringy person later when she met her husband's sister. Both of them started to tell my mum that she's not a good person, that she's proud and arrogant .

She stopped coming to my mum's shop and stopped talking to us also, my mum was very disappointed with her. People were now telling my mom to leave her alone. That's how she knows how to show appreciation to your helper.

I blame my mum for helping her, but she asked me not to do so because it is good to help people whenever they're in need of it. Some people went to meet her and said that what you did to the woman that helped you was not right. Her response was she did not send my mum to help her out.

Since then I know some people should not be helped because they're ungrateful human beings and wicked people living among people.
