First off,one word describes it. Amazing. It is Amazing. Alright a little background story... I have this friend that's a complete weeb, watches anime more than me and I love his prescence. Alright, he's always giving me recommendations, telling me the TEA of whatever happened during the day in his life and random things. So,I was introduced to Redo of healer by this guy and watching it was truly part of the greatest decisions of my life. I have read the manga though but the anime just slaps differently!

Alright, let's dive into a plot summary, shall we?

Ever wondered what happens when the usual "hero heals the party and gets no respect" trope goes horribly, horribly wrong? Well, Redo of Healer takes that idea, cranks it up to eleven, and sprinkles in some deeply disturbing yet oddly compelling revenge-fueled chaos.

Our story follows Keyaru, a humble guy with the rare ability to heal people. Now, you’d think this would make him the MVP of any adventuring party, right? Wrong. Turns out, in this world, healers are treated like disposable rags, and poor Keyaru gets the worst of it. Enslaved, drugged, and abused by his so-called allies—especially by the sadistic princess Flare—he spends years being their personal punching bag. But don’t worry, because our boy has a plan.

One day, Keyaru discovers that healing magic lets him absorb memories and abilities, essentially making him a walking cheat code. And just when things couldn’t get any crazier, he gets his hands on a time-reset ability. So what does he do? Go back to the past and make sure none of this suffering ever happens? Nope. He goes back with all his memories intact and decides to exact the most calculated, twisted revenge possible.

Reborn with a fresh start and a whole lot of pent-up rage, Keyaru plots his vengeance like a man who’s read too many revenge-fantasy novels. He flips the script on Flare, manipulating events to turn her into his obedient servant (because poetic justice, apparently). Along the way, he builds his own little party, recruiting a sexy demihuman named Setsuna, a demon lord named Eve, and a couple of others who are way too comfortable with his morally gray antics.

Now, if you’re thinking, "Wow, this sounds like a dark, gritty tale of justice and karma!"—you’re only half right. Redo of Healer is insane. One minute, it’s an intense revenge thriller; the next, it’s a bizarre fantasy harem with some of the most over-the-top scenes imaginable. The action is brutal, the magic system is cool, and Keyaru is like if John Wick and a chaotic anime villain had a baby.

At its core, Redo of Healer asks a simple question: What if the healer wasn’t just the team’s medic, but also its most terrifying weapon? The answer? A lot of very questionable decisions, plenty of NSFW moments, and an anime that somehow manages to be both entertaining and completely unhinged.

Do you know what this anime reminds me of? There's this Webtoon, Return of the mad demon. It's almost the same storyline and 'almost' I mean there's an 80% difference man, I'm just exaggerating;)

Now, let's do ourselves a lovely favour and see this yeah? It is peak guys. Have trust in my recommendations! And I have something to say about Solo leveling too. Would make a review about that soon and it's not something positive. I'm a reborn hater, haha;)

Thanks for reading. GUYS PLEASE DON'T COME AFTER ME,ASIDES THE 18+ SCENES, IT'S A GOOD SHOW😂😭

What? For real? Are you sure it's not the part of april fool or something? It's hard to believe whatever announcement they made on April coz of april fool 😆🤧. But anyways, I enjoyed this anime and even rewatch it. There's part if it that I felt like I'm watching hent*i, lol. But I love how Keyaru's power so OP in here and how he used it to his advantage. I really like it that I wish it is just your regular anime not the harem kind with lots of mature scenes 🙉. And if ever it's true that there's a season 2, I'm glad to know that and I can't wait to watch it once it's done.

Glad I'm not the only one who loved it!!! Asides it's 18+ scenes though(I fast-forwarded through every single time😭😂).

"Redo of Healer" looks like something potentially interesting but its MAL [1] page have a low score and unusually high rate of negative reviews (maybe among highest I've seen). What makes it interesting and worth watching? Review after review described it as fantasies of victimised angry immature man, with rape scenes.

I don't think you read my review properly. I got recommended by someone not a platform with absurd ratings sometimes. I liked it so much, asides the harem and maybe some 18+ scenes, it's a peak show... And for some reasons it doesn't have a lot of popularity, which is fine. I like them not overrated.

I think I misread nothing and I did not argue with anything in your review. What inspired you to watch the show is irrelevant. You gave positive review to the show that too many others described negatively. In not those exact words, you've said something like "I liked it nevertheless", and fair enough, you may have, but that opinion does not explain what makes the show worth watching.
For readers of reviews it is more valuable to learn important characteristics of reviewed shows rather than personal opinions of reviewers, I think. Based on your review alone, I find it difficult to decide whether to watch the show or not... I also like when shows are not overrrated, so I try not to overrate them. After all, what could be a worse disservice to community than positive review of some unworthy show?

Anyway, thanks for review and for mentioning the show that I've never heard about.

This series is pure morbidity, I only ended up watching it because of people's comments saying it was grotesque.

Yk... it's really morbid like @mig1 said. A lot of harem and stuff 🥲.
For some reasons when I was watching it,I skipped all the 18+ scenes! And now, I'm rewatching it with the 18+ scenes and yup, it's uncomfortable 🥲.
I'm sorry guys,my bad🥲

It left me with mixed feelings, to be honest. It's one of those shows that makes you wonder "what the hell am I watching?" but at the same time, you can't stop watching.

Exactly! I am glad you get my point of view. I skipped all the 18+ parts though. I liked the fact his motive was revenge. I mean let's hit pause on the 'trying to save everyone' thing for now
