It was completely out of random how I started watching this. I was looking for something different, not the usual type of spider man animation and not anime.
Castlevania is an animated Netflix series based on the japanese video game series, Castlevania III. It was written by Warren Eliis and produced 2017 by its producers, Frederator Studio's Kevin Korde, Fred Seibert and Shankar Animation's Adi Shankar.

The series follows the story of a vampire hunter Trevor who comes from the family of Belmont's as he battle against Dracula and his army of demons. The Belmont is a family dedicated to monster hunting. The society in Castlevania is made up of speakers,hunters,a church, magic users and vampires. Speakers are a group of nomad scholars who maintain oral stories and traditions.
The story,authentically,starts as a form of revenge,to seek revenge. Lisa, a woman from the village of Lupu seeked to learn the arts of medicine from a vampire, Dracula Vlad Trepes. Soon,they got married and Lisa became his human wife. I don't know if this is a spoiler or not but if it is, I'm sorry! Lisa was burnt on a cross.

The animation was well done, with stunning visuals and beautifully choreographed action scenes. The characters are complex and well developed, each with their own unique motivations, struggles and need. Castlevania is a funny series to watch. The writing is sharp,with a perfect blend of dark humour, intense drama and epic battles.
My 'well done" when I was talking about the graphics of the animation was not me being 100% honest... Castlevania is an amazing series with an okay animation and graphic style, a well written/amazing storyline and wonderful character development. Personally,when I'm watching a series, the character development means a lot to me. How they evolved and become who they are at that particular moment is important for viewers to witness.

This series was totally worth my time and I'd give it a 4 out of 5 stars. If you're looking for something new to try out, something different from the ordinary type of animation or anime,then you should definitely try Castlevania.
By the way,this is an adult animated series,not entirely suitable for kids.
I thought it was just ok, but I am happy they are trying things like this, that's for sure.
I'm glad too! Although the graphics and swiftness of the graphics could be better, it was an okay animation all together. Not your usual cartoon animation,spiderman or arcane animation and definitely not anime.... I absolutely adored the fact it was uniquely made and that's just what kept me going when watching it plus it has an amazing storyline
I liked the first two seasons of this series, mainly because I'm a fan of the games in which is based, however the last two seasons were too weird for my taste as it departed too much from the lore of the games. But I totally understand why people unfamiliar with the games loved it.

I haven't really played the game but yes,the last two seasons were a bit cringe... Still good though
