My ideal Healthy Environment
Hello Everyone,
The importance of a healthy environment cannot be overemphasized,
There are many sickness out there that could easily be avoided, if only we could live healthy and also make our environment more healthy for living.
I remember some years ago, I usually frequently have malaria, which was majorly caused because of mosquito bites, I had to clear out every gutters and weed out all the environment to get rid of any breading group for mosquito also I started using mosquito net. Ever since I took that drastic steps of using a mosquito net, I never had the malaria again for nore than a year now.
There is always a profound impact an healthy environment has on our well-being and the planet's ecosystems. A healthy environment is not just a moral obligation; it's a personal necessity that affects my quality of life, my family's well-being, and the future of our planet.
What Does a Healthy Environment Mean to Me?
To me, a healthy environment is about more than just clean air and water; it's about creating a sustainable and thriving ecosystem that supports all forms of life. It entails:"Fresh Air": I remember spending time outdoors as a child, breathing in the fresh air, playing in the rain and feeling refreshed.
Clean air is essential for our health, and we need carbon footprint reduction by using public transport, carpooling, or driving electric vehicles.
Another Element that makes up good Healthy environment is: "Clean Water": Access to safe and clean water is a fundamental human right. I make a conscious effort to conserve water, fix leaks, and support organizations that work to provide clean water to communities in need.
Most of the time here I used a treated water in satchet here, it is popularly called pure water over here.
Another Element of Good Healthy environment is "Fertile Soil": I love gardening and appreciate the importance of fertile soil in supporting plant growth. I try to reduce my use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, opting for natural and organic alternatives instead.
Also the idea of "Biodiversity": I am usually fascinated by Nature, the diversity of plant and animal species, and I believe it's essential to preserve and protect our ecosystems. I support organizations that work to conserve and restore natural habitats, and I try to reduce my impact on the environment by choosing sustainable products.
Finally an environment devoid of pollution: wether Noise pollution, land pollution , air or water pollution is very important to healthy living.
I wouldn't say my environment is fully healthy it's not, in fact I need to do more to make it More healthy
Firstly I would have to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle things like plastics, rubber materials, iron and many others,I try to minimize my waste, reuse items when possible, and recycle materials to reduce landfill waste and conserve resources.
Another thing that can be done is to Use Public Transport or Carpool instead of Carrying private cars everywhere,
In Lagos for example the amount of Carbon dioxide emissions from cars alone is enough to make the Environment pollution and Unhealthy for people, just if only people can make use of public transportation, a lot of cars won't be on the road, there won't be traffic Jams and many accidents can be avoided.
People should also support Renewable Energy*: I invest in renewable energy instead of using generators to power my house, I use solar just to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and mitigate climate change.
In conclusion
Creating a healthy environment requires collective action and a commitment to sustainability. I believe that we can all contribute to a healthier environment by making conscious choices in our daily lives, supporting sustainable practices, and advocating for environmental protection.

I completely agree that a healthy environment goes beyond just aesthetics; it's deeply connected to our well-being and everyday choices.
Our mental and physical wellness are strongly connected to our environment and I agree with all your points especially the gardening. A fertile soil is important for such, cheers mate.
I agree with you that importance of a healthy environment cannot be overemphasized. To some extent, your environment defines you and wherever you stay shows how well you take care of yourself.
