"Workplace Burnout: Recognizing the Signs and Finding Balance."

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is "Workplace Burnout," so let's dive in.
We all know how tiring work can be sometimes, that we get so busy that we forget to take care of ourselves, and before we know it, we start feeling drained, frustrated, and even uninterested in our jobs. We have some people that if they are walking on the road, they will faint; some will be working on their system and faint all because of work stress. These things are also called burnout when we're physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted from too much work and stress. And because of that, it can make us hate what we once enjoyed, and if we're not careful, it can even affect our health and land us in the hospitals.
What are the signs that we are burnout?
Before we can fix the problem, we need to know the signs, which are:-
(1) We feel tired all the time even after sleeping well. Knowing this, we will know that we are overworking ourselves because our body and mind are giving us the signs, and we need to listen to them before it gets worse because our body is not a stone or machine.
(2) We don't feel motivated to work. We will start noticing that after too much work, we will be tired and won't be motivated to continue working, which gives us the signs that we are overworking ourselves and we need a break to rest.

(3) We get easily irritated and frustrated. Maybe when working, we notice that we are unable to do something, especially if we have been trying to do it and it's not working, and because of that, we start getting irritated and frustrated. That's when we should know that we are overstressing ourselves.
(4) We notice that we are having headaches, body pain, or we keep getting sick. All of these are signs of overworking ourselves. And even sometimes we will find it hard to concentrate or make decisions due to the stress we are passing through.
If we all notice these signs, then it means that we need to slow down and make some changes, e.g., getting some rest, etc.
We have some bosses who don't even care whether their employees are okay or not or whether they are overstressing themselves or not but only care about their company and how they want to let it grow and make the employees available in the office 24/7.
Also, we have some people who, after noticing how stressed and overworked they are and that their boss doesn't care about them, they prefer to quit the job than continue working because they know that their health is very important to them, and if they are not healthy, then how will they work? That's why people always say health is wealth, because without health, how will we get the energy to work?
Setting boundaries between work and personal life

One of the main reasons people burnout is because they don't separate work from their personal life. Do you know that work will always be there, but our health and happiness should be our first priority? These are some tips to create balance between them:-
(1) When work hours are over, let's stop working. Don't let us bring our work home unless it's urgent.
(2) Let's take a short break during the day and rest our eyes from the screen, because too much looking at the screen can affect our eyes.
(3) If we have too much on our plates, then don't let us be afraid to say no.
By doing all these, we will notice some changes between them.
Also, we all know that we are not machines. No matter how hardworking we are, we need to rest. If we notice we are too stressed or tired, let's take a break.
We have some people who make mistakes by making work their first priority instead of their health. If work is all we focus on, then burnout will definitely hit us fast.
In conclusion, burnout is real, and it can make us lose interest in our job and even affect our health. But we can avoid it by recognising the signs, setting the boundaries, and taking good care of ourselves. But let's remember, work is important, but it's not more important than our health.

Thank you, pandex.
I really liked your post and the ideas on how we should be in order to face a day of work well. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you
I do share the work among my colleagues especially those that doesn't have much on their table. No matter how urgent the matter is don't call me, that's how I have kept it. Cause constant headache almost killed me
It's nice how you share work among your colleagues because too much of work can cause burnout.
If the work stress is high, then we bear it and work day and night, but if the manager is not good and the co-workers are not good, then it becomes impossible to work there.
