"Why Hard Work Is The Key To Success Means So Much to Me."

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is from Hive-Reachout, and it says, "What is your favourite quote?" So, let’s dive in!

There are so many quotes I have heard and still hearing till now, but among them, there’s this particular quote that truly means a lot to me and stands out as my favourite "Hard work is the key to success." To others, this quote may sound simple or normal, but to me, it is very powerful and holds a deep truth.

Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful hard work can be. It’s not just a simple saying, it’s something that has helped me move forward in life.

I first heard this quote from my late grandma when I was still living with her. She always told me and my two cousins who was also living with her that hard work paves the way, that if we work hard, no matter what, we will surely become successful in life. But if we are lazy, then how will we succeed? She always said this quote whenever she asked me to do something and I didn’t answered her. Back then, I didn’t think much of it because I was too young to understand. But as I grew older and started to understand life better and I also began to hear this quote more often, and then I truly understood why she always said this quote.

I’ve also come to understand that no matter how smart or lucky we are, if we don’t work hard, we won’t go far in life.

A typical example is my elder brother. He is a photographer, videographer, graphic designer, and more. Even when he’s not feeling well due to the pressure from clients or his workload (as he’s also a student), he doesn’t rest. He pushes himself to finish his jobs because many of his old clients always bring him new clients due to the quality of his work. He doesn’t relax because he knows what he wants and what goals he wants to achieve for his future. And because of his hard work, it has truly paid off for him.

That’s when I really understood this quote that success is not about sitting and hoping for something good to happen. It’s about putting in effort every day, even when we don’t feel like it.

Another thing I’ve learned from this quote is that hard work and patience work together. We can’t expect quick results. Sometimes we may keep working and it feels like nothing is happening. But something is happening, we just have to be patient. Hard work and patience are like farming, we plant seeds, water them every day, and wait. We can’t plant seeds today and expect it to grow the next day, it’s not possible. We must be patient because the seeds need time to grow before we can harvest. That’s how hardwork and patience are.

There were times in school when I was too tired or distracted to study, especially during my first semester exams. Everything was so tight for me, exams every day, with no break to prepare properly for the next exam. I had to study every night till the next day just to be ready and prepared for the next exam. But then I reminded myself that if I want good results and a better future for myself, I must work hard. So, I pushed myself throughout the exams. Even though becoming successful isn’t easy, with hard work and patience, everything will work out for our good.

In conclusion, this quote, "Hard work is the key to success", is not just an ordinary quote like I said earlier, but it’s a real quote. Because It has taught me not to sit and wait for luck. It has shown me that no matter who I am or where am coming from, if I keep pushing, keep trying, and never give up, I will surely succeed.
