Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is "From the heart," so let's dive into it.

Doing good from our hearts is a nice thing because the Bible says, "God loves the cheerful givers." . We all have different people that take different decisions. In this life, either we do good from our heart or we do good just for show or just because we want fame and followers.

Doing good from our hearts as it's own reward because if you do good without expecting something in return is what God loves the most because God loves it when we do good from our hearts, but when we do good just to win people's favor, God will never reward such people because God knows we are doing it just to win people's hearts.

Yes, it's good and nice to give to charity because not all fingers are equal. But you publishing the things you give to charity to gain followers is something that's bad, because to me that doesn't count as help from the heart; rather, it's just to make people talk good things about the person.

My grandma taught us that if we want to do good for someone, we should make sure that it comes from our hearts, not that we are doing it just for fame and people to follow us. I have noticed one thing about my grandma, and the thing is that whenever she wants to give something to someone, she makes sure to give it out from her heart, and she will make sure that nobody knows about it.

This type of thing, like doing good to gain more fame or followers, is very common in social media. If you are scrolling on social media, you will always see those celebrities telling some cameraman to camera them, as they are giving people something, that is not supposed to be.

Like what @princess-dara said in her post about a social media influencer known as Davido telling his cameraman to be videoing him as he's given people money, I also watched it.

To me, that's nonsense, because why give people something when you know it doesn't come from your heart? All he's doing is to gain more fame and make people follow him and also say something good about him. If I am doing good to people, I make sure nobody knows about it.

I have this friend; if she does something good for you, just know that it's because she wants people to talk good about her, not that the thing comes from her heart.

There was a time she gave one of my coursemates money, and later the both of them stopped talking. She started telling the person in front of people that if not for her, the person would have trekked to her house that day. The girl was embarrassed because she wasn't expecting that the friend of mine was going to let people know about it.

I hate when people are doing good to people to get fame, especially when I discover that the person is doing it to gain people's attention. I will feel sad and worthless because the person didn't do it from their heart; rather, it's called help, because doing good from our hearts must be a private thing where nobody's will know it than to do it where the whole world would see.
