Three things I dislike with passion.

Good day, people of Hive!

We all have something we dislike with a lot of passion. What I dislike is not the same thing another person will dislike; we all have different things we dislike with a lot of passion. There are a lot of things I dislike, but I will only mention three since we are told to only mention three, and they are: dishonesty,rudeness, and betrayal, so let's dive into them.

Dishonesty

Honesty is the foundation of all healthy relationships and trust in friends, whether professional or unprofessional, honesty matters a lot. I love it when someone is honest with me because, I will feel secure with that person, even if I can share my problems with him or her. But when I see that someone is dishonest with me, I will dislike that person instantly.

There was a time a guy from 400 level told one of my friends that he loved her, but my friend told him she was not interested because I and my friends had heard how people used to talk about how the guy used girls and how he used to change them every time as if he's changing his clothes, so the guy used to tell my friend that she should give him her number, but she didn't answer him.

So one day the guy came to meet me and said I should please give him my friend's number, and I told him that I couldn't give him that he should go and meet my friend and collect her number, I think when he saw I was not ready to give him, he went and meet my third friend, and she gave him the number of my second friend.

When my second friend got to know that our third friend went ahead and gave her number to the guy without her permission, she came to me and told me about it because our third friend knew about the reputation of the guy with girls and how he changes girls every week and still went ahead to give the guy our second friend's number, so my second friend said she would test our third friend's honesty to see if she would confess and tell the truth. So when we asked her about it, she denied that she was not the one who gave the guy the number.

Our third friend knew within herself that she was lying, while my second friend and I knew she was lying because she was scared and nervous. We kept asking her, but she kept saying she was not the one. I hate dishonest people like her, and I can't live with them at all because they will do something, and within them, they know they are lying still, they will be denying it. I can't live with dishonest people.

Rudeness

Rudeness is something I hate with a passion because I hate it if someone is rude to another person, especially to an older person. I get pissed at one who lacks respect for other people.

There's this girl in my department whose name is Mary. She's rude to everybody, even elders. I have witnessed it on many occasions where she will be talking to elders as if they are age mates, and if you are trying to correct her, she will turn you into her enemies. Let me share one experience of her rudeness with you guys.

It was when we were doing our last semester exam, that day we had two CBT exams and we had to print out our CBT slips or else the security men wouldn't allow us to enter the centre, so I already knew that things in our campus are very expensive so I gave #100 to one of my course mates to help me print my slips when coming since she said her cafe man will collect #100 from her for both slips.

On the day of our CBT exams, Mary forgot to print her slips because she used to print #100 also from her cafe man, so when we got to our exam centre, we went to the cafe lady centre so that Mary would print out her slips, so when the lady was done printing the two slips, she asked the lady how much? and the lady said #200, the next thing Mary said was she won't pay the #200 that the lady was trying to collect money from her that and started saying she used to print the slips #100 that the lady is a thief and started insulting the lady calling her names.

So I and coursemate started begging the lady not to be offended and we told Mary that she should apologise to the lady that the words were too much and that she shouldn't have insulted her, she said the lady deserved it and that she wouldn't apologise, the lady tore the slips and told Mary that she's very rude and stupid, for her to keep quiet, she told the lady that her mates her working a better job, she's here working as a cafe lady. I can't live with this type of person because I dislike them with a lot of passion, people who can't show respect to others, especially elder people.

Betrayal

Dishonesty and betrayal are related, but they are not the same.
Betrayal is the third thing I hate with a lot of passion. I hate it when I tell my friends my deepest secrets and they go ahead and reveal my secrets, or when I am in a relationship and my partner goes ahead to betray me, I can't stand people like them.

There was a time when someone close to me betrayed me and when I got to know about it I felt hurt and disappointed, even I was depressed because I wasn't expecting such a person to betray me. I can't tolerate or live with such people because if we tell them our secrets and we fight, they won't wait and start telling people about our secrets. I can't ever stay or live with people like them because I dislike them with a passion.
