Some reasons why information are important to the people and why it should be withheld.

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is "Should citizen get full information on what is going on in the country"? so let's dive into it.

To me, yes, citizens should have the right to know what's happening in their country, because if citizens don't know what's happening in their country, how will they prevent what's coming their way? Though in our country there's kidnapping, money ritual, raping, killing, and accidents that are happening still, that doesn't mean we citizens shouldn't know about it.

Though there should be an exception where certain information might need to be withheld temporarily for security reasons and also to prevent panic from the citizens. Even though citizens have the right to know what's happening in their country, there are still some things they shouldn't know to make peace reign and make citizens not to panic. If our leaders or governments are doing something without the support of we citizens, what they are doing can't be possible because we citizens are the people that can make things possible with our support.

For example, if someone is running for president or governor, it's our right as a citizens to know about it. If they kidnap or kill someone, we as citizens have the right because, as our leaders have the right to know about it, we citizens also know about it.
I would love to share some of the right a citizen of a country possesses and some of the information that should be withheld from the citizen for save measure.

• Citizens have the right to know what their government is doing so that in case something happens, they will hold their leaders accountable.
• Citizens should know what's happening in their country. In case their government makes a bad decision or something bad happens, the citizens will surely have the trust, and they can also cooperate and support them.
• Citizens should know what's happening in their country so that they can stop corruption and make sure there's no abuse of power in the country, e.g., it's common among our leaders to abuse their power in the wrong way.
• Citizens should know what's happening in their country so that they can fight for their rights and also be among the people who will protest for any election.

• There is some certain information that, if it leaks out, can involve or incite violence, war, etc. So disclosure of certain information for the peace of citizens is better.
• In case something happens or in a time of crisis, too much information can make citizens panic and unrest, so it's better to keep some information to maintain peace for the citizens.
• There is some information that is related to national security; such information is to be confidential and not to be leaked out for citizens to know.
• There is some news that if citizens hear it, it can affect their mental health issues, so it's better for citizens to know what they know for peace to reign.
• And lastly, too much information without doing proper research or investigation can lead to misunderstandings among citizens, so it's better to keep them secretive.

All these things mentioned are what citizens should know and shouldn't know.
