"Sanguine and Choleric: How My Personality Works."

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is from Hive-Reachout, which says "Temperament," so let's dive in.
When I saw today’s topic on Hive-Reachout, I was excited to write on it because we’re asked to talk about our own temperament.
We already know that temperament is the natural part of our personalities that influences the way we feel, behave, and think. It's something we are born with, not something we learn in school. Knowing our temperament really helps us understand ourselves better and even helps us get along with people.
For me, I found out that I have a two-in-one temperament, which are sanguine(Bubbly) and choleric(leadership). The sanguine part of me is that I’m always lively, jovial, friendly, and fun to be with. The choleric part is that I’m a strong-willed and determined person. Whatever I say I will do, I go ahead and do it. I'm also a little bold and confident in what I do.
How old was I when I discovered it?
I discovered the sanguine side during my teenage years. I just noticed that I always make people around me laugh, I make friends easily, and I’m very comfortable around people. I don’t like places that are dull, and I don’t enjoy being alone for too long, I love when I'm surrounded with people. At the same time, I also noticed I love being in control. I like giving directions, and I always want things to go my way. This choleric side of me really came out well during my 200-level course cultural day (I think I’ve mentioned it here before). I was made the leader of my group, and I handled the role so well that I beat the expectations of my lecturer and group members, some of my group members thought I couldn’t handle the responsibility but I proved them wrong. I made sure everything went according to my plan and guide, and we ended up as the second-best group that day.
Being sanguine means I am naturally fun-loving. I enjoy talking, making people laugh, and meeting new people. I hardly get bored, especially when I’m with my loved ones. My friends often say I bring happiness and laughter around people, and I believe that’s true. Whenever I see one of my friends feeling down, I try to cheer him/her up by cracking some jokes which always help. I also don’t stay angry for long, and I don’t like holding grudges because I hate it. If someone offends me, I’ll tell them how I feel, and after that, it’s off my chest, I don’t keep it in my heart.

Now, my choleric side is different. Once I decide to do something, I go for it with all my strength. I don’t really care what others say, as long as I know what I want and I’m happy with it, I go ahead. I hate being a failure, and if something isn’t working the way I want, I’ll find another way to make it work, no matter what. I also like being in charge.
Knowing these two sides of me has really helped me to understand myself better. For example, when I’m playful and lively, I know it’s my sanguine side. And when I become serious and determined, I know it’s my choleric side. This has also helped me to understand people more because It makes me realise that not everyone likes to lead or talk, and that’s perfectly okay, because we are all different.
Does this temperament fit my personality?
Yes, it truly does. But as we know, every good thing also has a bad side.
One thing I don’t like about my two-in-one temperament is that I sometimes talk too much without thinking, and I can be too pushy. I like things done my way, and sometimes I don’t listen to other people’s ideas. I also get annoyed when people are too slow or seem unserious.
But now, I’m learning how to find balance in my temperament. I’m working on thinking before I speak and listening to others’ ideas. So far, I’ve noticed some changes, and they’re helping me. I still love making people laugh and it makes me happy to know I'm the reason of their smiles. I also still love leading and being determined, but now I do both with more understanding and patience.
In conclusion, to me, being sanguine and choleric is a gift. It means I can make people laugh, lift the mood in any room I enter, and also be bold and strong-willed in what I'm doing.

This one that you talk too much, why not join the MC work or become a comedian online? Lol😅
😂😂😂, I think becoming comedian online will be good. Thank you for this suggestions
This is good. It's good to be bold and strong willed. At least, one wouldn't be bullied or scared to take risks.

It's good to you discovered your temperament early, to say at least, and flowed with it. I like how you mentioned trying to put up a balance with the temperament, by talking less and not being pushy, but hearing others too.
