Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is from Hive-Reachout, which says "Purpose of Existence". So let's dive in.

When I saw today's topic, honestly I was debating whether to write it or not because I'm quite confused, but I'll write based on my understanding.

It's true that none of us begged to be born; we just opened our eyes one day and realised we were in this world. I used to hear people always say "A wa naja l'aye," meaning ("We came into this life to struggle,") which is true. Because every day we are facing a lot of challenges, problems, pain, and stress. Every day, people die. Some die at birth. Some don't even get the chance to see the world. But here we are, alive, breathing, and moving around. That alone is not by luck because some people are fond of saying it's by luck we are alive; but that's a lie, because it's by God's grace we are all alive. Some slept and they couldn't wake up, some fell and they died, but here we are today, alive, doing whatever we want to do. That shows there has to be a reason.

Why do you think we are alive?

Are we born to get married? have a job? and die?, or is there more to it? Because, if it's just about that, why do we still feel empty sometimes, even after achieving all those things? There are people who have everything, money, fame, cars, houses—but still feel like something is missing. And they can't explain what's wrong.

Honestly, not all the rich people we see out there are living fine. Because they are rich and famous, we all assume they are living a fine and better life. That's why people always say "never judge a book by its cover."

Do we think we exist for a purpose, or are we just existing?

Honestly, we all exist for a reason. Everybody in this world has a purpose. Although it might not be the same for everyone, but there's a reason why we're in this world, because we all have different purposes. Some people's purpose here in this world is to heal, some to teach, some to preach the gospel of God, some to show love, some to advise, and some to lead just like Moses in the Bible, whose purpose was to rescue the Israelites from Pharaoh's hostage and lead them to the promised land.

Is this purpose the same for everyone?

No, it's not. Just like our characters and faces are different, so is our purpose in life. What I am meant to do in this world may be different from what another person is meant to do. That's why we should never compare our lives with others. Everyone has their own path. For example, because I move fast to achieve my purpose and another person moves slowly, that doesn't mean they are wasting time. It's not; rather, it just means our journeys are different. We have some people who discovered their purpose early in life, while some take time to figure out their own. But still no one is better than the other. Being slow doesn't mean we're falling behind, and being fast doesn't mean we've achieved something. What really matters most is that we're all moving in the direction of our purpose.

How can we discover our own purpose?

Honestly, there are a lot of ways we can discover our purpose, but I will mention a few that I know;

1. Let's look at what we love doing naturally. The things we love doing without stress can be our purpose.

2. Let's look at what people always come to us for. It may be for help, advice, support, etc. For example, maybe we discovered that people always come to us for advice; that means advising people is our purpose.

3. Maybe we feel pain whenever we see children suffering. That means our purpose is to help and support the weak.

In conclusion, just like I mentioned earlier. Some people discover their purpose early, while some discover it late. What really matters is we're all moving in the direction of our purpose. Also, if we don't fully understand our purpose right now, because not all of us understand their purpose in this world, just know that we're not here in this world by accident or mistake.

Yes, we need to pray to God so that we can all know our purpose on earth because not all of us know about purpose.

Purpose is never far from us, sometimes all we need to do is to look quietly inside and around and the answer to our questions will come.
