I am here to make my entry to wk #152 contest.

This week's topic:
Destiny - Do you believe in destiny? Do you believe everything is already written, or do we shape our future? Why?

I only believe in destiny when it works in my favour, but when it work against what I expect.
There is no way I would accept it, I will even argue against it because how am I supposed to accept something bad because of destiny.

There are many things that no matter what we do, it will still play out the way it wants to.
And when we try our best to make the best out of something but continue to fail, we will just have to accept that it is meant to be.

The real deal, is we are the architect of our lives.
We have the opportunity to shape our life and future to how we want it.

One can't just fold his/her hands without helping to become something in life and go with the believe that whatever destiny holds for them, they shall get.

That's totally nonsense.
You work and thrive to shape your future to be bright, favourable and enjoyable.

I can beat me chest and say that our future is shaped by how we lived our past.

There is no way I would believe that a lazy person would magically turn great tomorrow because of destiny.
A push must happen somewhere to trigger that change.

Or someone who is too comfortable by his/her present lifestyle without making a good provision for the future would magically have a great future because of destiny.

I will close my write with a story told by my grandfather.

In a small town, it is known that whenever the flood comes people crops are always destroyed, which contributes to everybody dying as well.
No generation last more than 5 years, they believed it was destiny.
A great man changed that history by finding ways to store some crops after harvest.
