Freewrite writing prompt Day 2800 : No more stress
You all think I am a lunatic right?
Now, I have ended it all, no more stress.
Lydian read those words in tears and regrets, she couldn't place it and she is about to lose it.
She began to retrace her movements back to when she moved out from the house.
She tried hard to recall on the day she got the call to travel to Paris for a project work.
She could have rejected that offer and stayed with her friend Rose, all these couldn't have happened.
Not that, she could have been back to save her on time,if not for the useless party she had to attend.
Why did she even agree to it?
She was talked into going for the party because her teammates thought it was a great idea to celebrate their wins on a successful project.
But, she could have had just a bottle of drink.
Why more?
If she didn't woke up late as a result of the hangover, she could have made it back home early.
Oh, no the stupid delay at the airport, this contributed to it all.
She could have taken the train instead.
Lydian continued to find blames until a gentle hand touched her shoulder and said "It's not your fault lydian, Rose went astray".
She couldn't understand or believe what the mother was trying to say "it's my fault, I could have been there for her!".
"No, Lydian, put yourself together, Rose joined a cult"
