The Samsung Watch 6 is Getting Powered Up with Galaxy AI
Samsung released a successor to the Samsung Watch 5, the Watch 6, late last year, and it came with decent upgrades - since the 5 was already pretty good - and now the company will make new AI health and fitness additions later this year. And the new features will include personalised tips, records, sleep indicators, and workout routine suggestions.

Wearables are a trending niche in tech these days, and it is for the innovative usefulness they are offering now, and, surely, Samsung join the train to introduce new devices to compete in the game, and so they are taking up their Samsung Watchs up a notch with Galaxy AI.

Using the data the Watch measures, Wellness Tips - another feature coming to the Watch - will provide insightful, useful suggestions, tips, and guidance based on personal health goals set.
Rather than using advanced equipment as usual to measure body readings, especially for training, these new features will help provide "intelligent and effortless physical capacity measurements" for more efficient experiences.
For more athletes like runners and cyclists, the new features include adding "new detailed Aerobic Threashold (AT) / Anaerobic Threshold (AnT) Heart Rate Zone metrics" that will help performance, as well as "calculate Functional Threshold Power (FTP) metrics in just 10 minutes." They also get Race to track running and progress based on past and current performances on the same routes.

Workout Routine will allow one to create personalised workout routines with combinations of exercises as well as continue to other "sets" of exercises without interruptions in between.
“By expanding the power of Galaxy AI across our ecosystem, we’re looking to open up all new possibilities with optimised and connected experiences that offer users greater personalisation and intelligence,” said Junho Park, VP and Head of the Galaxy Ecosystem Product Planning Team, MX Business at Samsung Electronics. “The introduction of Galaxy AI to the Galaxy Watch is just the beginning of this process, and we’re excited to showcase even more integrations across our Galaxy portfolio very soon.” Samsung Newsroom
Samsung hints that these features will not only be coming to the Samsung Watch 6, but also many other of their devices accross the Samsung Galaxy, especially te Galazy Ring Wearable that was announced in January. And the Samsung Ring way be launched at the next Unpacked event in July.

The company says that all these new features will be available in the Galaxy Watch series line-up with the release of the One UI 6 Watch update. They also say that some users may get early access to the beta program which will start in June. A tip of the iceberg, the company claims these new features are in comparison with what they have in store.
