Pasta/Art gallery date
Hi hivers, welcome to another blog.how have you guys been ? I know I went Mia for a while ,February started not so well for me I had typhoid & malaria but I’m glad I feel more better now at least I’m the right frame of mind to post content here on hive .
As soon as I recovered from my illness my friend and I planned an art gallery/pasta date . The preparation was fun from looking for the perfect outfit and picking the perfect art gallery location. As soon as we dressed up ,our First location was the restaurant , the name of the restaurant is six7restaurant it’s a new restaurant in town it’s located in asokoro ,Abuja and also not too far from where I live .
Immediately we stepped in to the restaurant we were welcomed by the security and they also directed us to the restaurant. Immediately we settled down my friend and I told the waitress what we wanted,I got the assorted pasta/watermelon and pineapple juice and my friend got pasta egg . The assorted pasta had minced meat and sausages in it , it was so nice and well cooked . Before eating we took pictures of ourselves and the food .after that we proceed to pay for our meal then we headed to the rest room . We went to the restroom to retouch our makeup because we still have another place to visit .after that we proceed to the next location.
The next stop was retro Africa . Located in asokoro ,abuja it’s a gallery the outside of the gallery was so beautiful my friend and I took really nice pictures. When we got inside we saw the receptionist she welcomed us. The lady we met collected my small led light and tripod stand because it’s not allowed at the gallery. When I worked through the gallery I was a bit disappointed because of how few the art work is I wasn’t so happy with my experience at the gallery it the art work I saw there was a bit confusing. At some point I felt like the gallery was a studio spot because they was no much art work aside from three or four art work with one sculpture ,people only came in to take pictures .
I didn’t hesitant to take pictures too I’m also in love with taking pictures and looking at art works since they was one few art I could only take pictures 😂. The day wasn’t so bad but the gallery didn’t met my expectations.

STOPIt's sad that the art gallery didn't meet your expectations, but at least you got to take pictures. And I think that meal before you is kinda drawing my attention 😁. Sorry about the malaria and typhoid, it's good to see that you're well and back. Hope we get to see more contents.
Yes ,I’m happy I got good photos if I didn’t it would have ruined my day even more . Malaria got nothing me , I’m back stronger and better.

Firstly, thank God you're better now. Having to spend a nice date with a friend after recovering can be quite refreshing. But then again it's strange how not so many people appreciate art in this part of the world and I think that's why a lot of our talented artists aren't motivated enough to flood galleries here with their art work. Some even break their banks to go for exhibitions out of the country which shouldn't be.
By the way, you look pretty and your picture angles are great. Nice one.

This sounds like such a fun and well-planned day! I love how you and your friend put effort into picking the perfect outfits and locations it makes the experience even more exciting. That pasta sounds so good, especially with the minced meat and sausages. I can imagine how disappointing it must have been when the art gallery didn’t meet your expectations, but at least you still got to take nice pictures and enjoy the moment. Sometimes, the best part of an outing is just spending time with good company. Glad you’re feeling better now looking forward to more of your adventures!
The pasta was a 10/10 experience I really enjoy visiting new restaurants and trying new food .thanks for going through my post .
