The Death Anniversary Of My Grandfather
I can't forget the year 1985, I talked to him one morning and he gave me a pocket money for school. He made chocolate at dawn so I will not be hungry in school. I was wearing my school uniform and he reminded me thatb I must study hard. Then he went to the mountain slope to get food for the pig and never return.
He is my maternal grandfather and my grandmother had just died last May.
I'm leaving and I called you "Tay, I'M GOING TO LEAVE", no one answered but instead the boy Eric Guadalquiver came and said you're calling me and you're on the cliff. 😭😭😭, I ran I left my bag and ran to the cliff I saw you lying on the ground with the big trunk of the aratiles tree in your side but the knife was on your back😫😫😫. My grandfather was still young! Only 53 years old. He loves me as his eldest grandchild. I was only 15 years old at that time. We took him to Tagbilaran City because his Spinal Cord Column was broken. Can't stand.
Every afternoon I traveled from Loon to Tagbilaran to look after my grandfather, but unfortunately, while I was feeding him he was hungry. I followed my grandfather, suddenly he couldn't breathe and he was taken to the ICU,,,, The next day, July 8, he lost his life.
One of the most painful stages of my life, losing someone who loves me😭😭😭. Tatay, forever you are in my heart. I learned a lot of work from you for being a skilled person, for electricity, water, petromax lights, umbrellas and others you repair and I saw how you did it. And above all, your love, how you prepared food for us everyday. You are a good example father and grandfather to me. I love you and I miss you, Tatay!
