This is the third winter I have been wintering in Turkey. And I no longer feel these severe frosts that I remember in Ukraine. The snowy winter is like a fairy tale. But I don't really like this long cold winter time.

Winter is very long in Canada as well. By the end of it I often feel desperate for spring to start. The temperature has been quite cold here lately -16°C a few of the days. It's gone up to -3°C which is much better. I stood outside without a shirt on today because it was sunny and it was bearable for the 10 minutes I stayed stood there. If it wasn't windy I would have lasted longer.
