A Trip to Trout Creek - Seasonal Runoff
It's mid April, so the seasonal creek that flows near my house was running again with spring runoff. I took a short afternoon trip out to the forest to capture some of the sights. Follow along as I share some of the photos and videos of my excursion. Maybe even a view of what lies beneath the creek! 😁
After a short walk through the woods here is a view up stream.

A view down stream.
I decided to explore down stream a bit as I remembered from a trip here last year that there would be some small rapids.
Here is a panorama of the area I found after a short walk. While not the same place I remembered from last year I decided to spend some time here photographing and videoing the area.
I waded out onto the small island to get a little better view of the first small rapid.
A view looking down stream from the island.
One more shot from the island before continuing my exploration.
I decided to try a little blur motion photography here with these next shots. Without my tripod and remote shutter release I was a little concerned how they might turn out. I was pleasantly surprised. 😀
Another small rapid...
And of course a couple of blur motion shots. 🙂
Here are three shots I took with a little framing of the rapid in mind. Which one is your favorite?
