A Trip to Trout Creek - Seasonal Runoff

It's mid April, so the seasonal creek that flows near my house was running again with spring runoff. I took a short afternoon trip out to the forest to capture some of the sights. Follow along as I share some of the photos and videos of my excursion. Maybe even a view of what lies beneath the creek! 😁

tcsc-3.JPGI decided to explore down stream a bit as I remembered from a trip here last year that there would be some small rapids.

tcsc-4.JPGHere is a panorama of the area I found after a short walk. While not the same place I remembered from last year I decided to spend some time here photographing and videoing the area.

tcsc-5.JPGI waded out onto the small island to get a little better view of the first small rapid.

I decided to try a little blur motion photography here with these next shots. Without my tripod and remote shutter release I was a little concerned how they might turn out. I was pleasantly surprised. 😀

And of course a couple of blur motion shots. 🙂

Here are three shots I took with a little framing of the rapid in mind. Which one is your favorite?

And lastly as promised a nearly 4 minute video of what is going on under the water.
