A visit to Nandi Hills....
Welcome to my blog...✍️ NAMASTE (Hello) ❤🙏❤ to all of the stunning personalities of the Hive community I am fine and healthy and hope that you also stay fine, happy and healthy with your family
A very good evening to all of you! I am fine and hoping the same for you. Lately, I have been really feeling that life is moving very fast and we are just busy with our work and office things so I was planning for a short trip from a long time but it was not happening due to some reasons. But finally, this weekend something amazing happened which I am going to share with you all.
Actually, living in a PG sometimes feels very boring, you know? The same routine every day wake up go to office come back sleep. So, me and my roommate Praveen and some other friends decided that we should go out somewhere to refresh our minds because it is very important. We thought a lot about where to go, and finally, we decided to visit Nandi Hills.
It is one of the most famous places near Bangalore and everyone says that the sunrise there is very beautiful so we made a plan that we will go there on bikes.
Now let me tell you about our journey. We decided that to see the sunrise, we have to leave very early. So, we all woke up in the middle of the night. Can you believe it? We left from our PG at around 2:00 AM in the morning.

To tell you the truth, I was feeling very sleepy at first, my eyes were burning a little but when we started riding the bike, the cold wind hit my face and all my sleep went away. It was dark everywhere, the roads were empty, and it was a different kind of feeling which i cannot explain in words. We were riding and enjoying the night view of the city.
But something very funny and interesting happened on the way. While we were riding, we saw a group of boys on the road. They were also going to Nandi Hills I think. They had a very big speaker with them and they were playing loud music.
At first, we just looked at them, but then they stopped their vehicles and started dancing on the road. Seeing them enjoying so much, we also stopped our bikes. Trust me, it was such a random moment but it was the best part of the ride. We didn't know them, they didn't know us, but music connects everyone. We joined them and we all danced together on the road at 3 AM! It was full of energy and happiness and we forgot everything for some time. After dancing for some time, we said bye to them and continued our journey.
We finally reached the bottom of the hills and started climbing up. By the time we reached the top, it was around 5:00 AM.
When we reached the top, the view was just breathtaking. It was very cold there, much colder than the city. We parked our bikes and went to the view point.

The sun was just about to rise. There was fog everywhere. It felt like we were standing above the clouds. You know that feeling when you see something so beautiful that you forget all your stress? I felt exactly like that. The clouds were moving so fast and touching us. It was like heaven honestly.
1️⃣ The first thing I did was just stand there and take a deep breath. The air was so fresh, not like the city pollution.
2️⃣ Then I took out my phone to capture these moments because I wanted to share this beauty with you all on this platform.

After clicking some pictures of the scenery, I wanted some time for myself. There was a bench nearby which was empty. I went there and sat alone for some time. Sunlight was just coming up and falling on my face. It felt so warm in that cold weather. I sat there, closed my eyes and just listened to the sound of wind. It is very beneficial for mental peace trust me. Sometimes we need this kind of silence to understand ourselves better and to feel calm from inside

After sitting alone for some time, my friends called me. "Bhai, come let's take photos together," they said. So I went back to them. We all sat together on a wall and clicked many pictures. Everyone was laughing and making jokes. My roommate Praveen is very funny, he was making poses that made us laugh a lot. It is good to have friends with whom you can be yourself and enjoy freely

We spent almost 3-4 hours just roaming around, looking at different view points. The clouds were looking like cotton candy.
By this time, it was late morning and we started feeling very hungry. We had not eaten anything since night because we left at 2 AM. So we decided to have lunch there only. There are some small shops on the hill. We ordered some food and sat down to eat. Having lunch with a view of clouds is a different experience which we cannot get in normal hotels.

After lunch, we saw a shop selling Goli Soda. I think many of you know what Goli Soda is. It is a local drink which comes in a glass bottle with a marble (goli) inside. I had not drunk it for a long time, so we all bought one-one bottle. I chose the blueberry flavor and Praveen took the orange one. Trust me the taste was amazing. It was fizzy and very refreshing after walking so much. We really liked the taste.
But then, something very cute happened. While we were drinking our soda, we saw a monkey sitting on a tree branch nearby. He was looking at us continuously. Actually, he was looking at the soda bottles in our hands. Monkeys at Nandi Hills are very smart, they know what humans eat and drink.
My roommate Praveen has a very kind heart. He saw the monkey looking at us and he said, "I think he is thirsty too." So, Praveen went little closer (not too close because it can be dangerous 😅) and offered his Goli Soda bottle to the monkey.
To our surprise, the monkey actually came down, took the bottle and started drinking it! It was so funny to watch. He was drinking it exactly like a human. I quickly took a picture of this moment because it was very rare.

It was a very nice gesture by Praveen. We felt happy seeing the monkey enjoy the drink. After that, we stayed for some more time. The sun was getting strong now and the clouds were slowly going away. We were feeling tired but our hearts were happy. It was a long ride back home but we were discussing about the fun we had, especially the dancing on the road and the monkey incident.
Really, these small trips are very important. 1️⃣ It helps to reduce stress. 2️⃣ It makes our bond with friends stronger. 3️⃣ We get to see the beauty of nature which we miss in city life.
I came back to my PG and slept for 4 hours straight 😅 because I was awake whole night. But when I woke up, I was feeling very fresh. I hope you liked reading about my small adventure to Nandi Hills. If you ever come to Bangalore, you must visit this place early in the morning.
Have you ever done a sudden night trip like this? Or have you ever shared your food with animals like Praveen did? Please tell me in the comments, I love reading your experiences.
