Hello, Hive friends.

Today I come with a different publication that, although it follows the anime theme, is focused more on the musical section of the anime.

Specifically, I will talk about three musical themes that are used as ending themes of some series that I have seen and that, in my opinion, could easily be used as opening themes.

Veil, by Keina Suda.

This is a deeply emotional track composed by Keina Suda that is part of his 2019 album Porte and served as the first ending for the first season of the anime Fire Force.

Its lyrics explore themes such as nostalgia, loss and hope, with some verses evoking the inner struggle of the character in question, which in this case is sister Iris, as shown to us by the ending animation. It also speaks of an unspoken farewell and the difficulty of achieving dreams and goals in adversity.

In the musical section, it is based on the alternative pop genre with the use of electronic elements that makes it a very lively theme that could be used as the opening theme of any anime.

TAIDADA, by Zutomayo.

This song performed by the band Zutomayo mixes alternative rock with electronic elements, something characteristic of the group's experimental nature. It serves as the closing theme for the anime DanDaDan, a series that mixes the supernatural with action and mystery.

It was composed by ACAね (its name is pronounced Akané) and features 煮ル果実 (Niru Kajitsu) and 100回嘔吐 (Hyakkai Outo) as arrangers.

Their lyrics talk about inner struggle and the search for authenticity in a world full of social expectations, reflecting complex emotions that suggest a constant emotional battle.

Urusiren, by Umeda Cypher.

Urusiren is a Japanese hip-hop and rap song that serves as the closing theme for the third season of the anime Fire Force. It was written by Peko, KOPERU, Take-M, KennyDoes and ILL SWAG GAGA and produced by Cosaqu.

It is a vibrant and explosive track whose lyrics talk about the importance of making yourself heard in a world full of noise and outside opinions. Presenting a dilemma between tranquility and the need to express oneself, with verses that reflect the struggle to stand firm in the face of adversity.

The official video features no anime elements, but mixes elements of animation with live shots of the band members in an alternate reality where they face personal challenges before reuniting in the end. It was directed by Shunji Iwai who brought a cinematic style with dynamic shots and a visual narrative that complements the energy of the theme. As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, it seems to me that these three themes have an energy of their own that could make them work well as opening themes for some anime, although as closing themes they are already quite memorable, being that it seems to me that the last theme on display, Urusiren, is better than the opening of the respective season of Fire Force.

I don't really know if I'll do a weekly series on this topic in my posts, since I don't think there are many anime ending themes that work as openings, but I might talk in a general way about the openings and endings I've liked so far. We'll see.

Hoy vengo con una publicación diferente que, aunque sigue la temática del anime, está enfocada más al apartado musical de los animes.

Específicamente, hablaré de tres temas musicales que son utilizados como temas de cierre de algunas series que he visto y que, a mi parecer, podrían ser utilizadas facilmente como temas de apertura.

Veil, por Keina Suda.

Este es un tema profundamente emotivo compuesto por Keina Suda que forma parte de su álbum Porte de 2019 y sirvió como primer tema de cierre de la primera temporada del anime Fire Force.

Su letra explora temas como la nostalgia, la pérdida y esperanza, con algunos versos que evocan la lucha interna del personaje en cuestión, que en este caso es la hermana Iris, según nos muestra la animación del ending. También habla de una despedida no pronunciada y la dificultad de alcanzar los sueños y metas en la adversidad.

En el apartado musical, está basado en el género pop alternativo con uso de elementos electrónicos que lo hace un tema bastante animado que podría ser utilizado como tema de apertura de cualquier anime.

Fue compuesto por ACAね (su nombre se pronuncia Akané) y cuenta con 煮ル果実 (Niru Kajitsu) y 100回嘔吐 (Hyakkai Outo) como arreglistas.

Es un tema vibrante y explosivo cuya letra habla sobre la importancia de hacerse escuchar en un mundo lleno de ruido y opiniones externas. Presentando un dilema entre la tranquilidad y la necesidad de expresarse, con versos que reflejan la lucha por mantenerse firme ante la adversidad.

El video oficial no muestra elementos que tengan que ver con anime, pero mezcla elementos de animación con tomas en vivo de los miembros de la banda en una realidad alternativa donde se enfrentan a desafíos personales antes de reunirse al final. Fue dirigido por Shunji Iwai quien aportó un estilo cinematográfico con tomas dinámicas y una narrativa visual que complementa la energía del tema. Como mencioné al inicio de la publicación, me parece que estos tres temas tienen una energía propia que podría hacerlos funcionar bien como temas de apertura de algún anime, aunque como temas de cierre ya son bastante memorables, siendo que me parece que el último tema expuesto, Urusiren, es mejor que el opening de la respectiva temporada de Fire Force.

No sé realmente si haré una serie semanal sobre este tema en mis publicaciones, ya que no creo que hayan muchos temas de cierre de anime que funcionen como openings, pero podría hablar de manera general de los openings y endings que me han gustado hasta ahora. Ya lo veremos.
