Marching Forward to 2026

Hello friends and fellow proud Nigerians. I'm happy to participate in this week's prompt in #hivenaija.

As 2025 is coming to an end in less than two weeks from now, this is the time we meditate. We think on the things we achieved, things we tried but couldn't achieve and how to live better next year. I give thanks to God Almighty that the level I am this year is not the same level I was last year. It shows that I'm progressing. It shows that efforts and hard work is not in vain. I believe that I'm going higher next year and years to come.
Like I mentioned in my introductory post, I spent five years after writing my WAEC to build my skills/handwork. 2024, I pondered on how to go about my education. I knew that having those skills (makeup, hair styling, nail designing and gele styling) isn't enough for me. I've always loved education but I needed those skills because of the society we live in. I worried on my finances and how I can balance my business and my education. So earlier this year, I wrote my JAMB and got admission into Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu polytechnic Abia State, Nigeria to study Accountancy. As we study deeper in this my course of study, I'm beginning to understand the course and it's quite fun because, I actually love solving mathematics (not that I know it too much o 😂😂).
2026 I believe I'm marching forward into academic excellence and divine success (financially, medically etc.). I'll excel with diligence, hard work and perseverance. I'll take my studies seriously, attend tutorial classes, pay attention, attend classes. I know that success doesn't come on a platter of gold; I need to work hard for it. So, 2026, I'm ready to give it my all and pray for God's mercy and blessings, I believe the sky will be my limit.
