CRASHING THE DOLLLAR 2

Hello all, hope you're having a great weekend.

Sequel to my last post CRASHING THE DOLLAR, I come with this.

An excerpt from the previous reads: "If my thoughts a true, meaning he[ Mr. Donald Trump] is using tariffs as a negotiating tool to get other countries to peg their currencies to a weakened dollar, whilst the US maintains their place as stated above. This will therefore trigger more the export industry, high demands for exports will thus lead to the opening of more companies in the US and ofcourse more jobs available for it's people."

That sets the tone, so may I now proceed by adding a bit of historical hue to proceedings.

The USA looks in dire straits right now. After World War 2 , the US grew in consumerism and finally got addicted to it, addicted to cheap disposable goods. Obviously there was far more disposable income then. In the eighties, to keep process and consumerism viable, companies moved their goods manufacturing off-shore. Subsequently, as disposable income diminished, things got cheaper and erm shoddier.

Right now is a situation where people have little disposable income, but the system seems set on stone– big companies still rely on consumerism. So the US is actually teetering on economic collapse.

This could have been avoided by curtailing the monopolies and maintaining the middle class income level folks. You see in the past, small independent companies, who sustained small towns, were the backbone of the nation's wealth, but the monopolies in league with government( eg the US congress) made these small companies unviable.

So it has now become, tariffs to the rescue. It has now become an attempt to take the economy back to the pre-eighties. Many say it's only a last ditch effort that won't work, that an economic crash is on the horizon.

Well what we see now, is that countries are moving to negotiate more friendly tariffs with the US and very recently even China that seemed unperturbed be the tariff hikes on them by the US have now negotiated lower tariffs with the US.

Now I recall how that my previous blog ends:

"Many say Trump is terrible in building trust, citing example like him threatening Canada or him wanting to take Greenland and so on.

Well I think there's often something he sees that others don't and he goes about it in a way that looks rather awkward. That has been his style. I think he would eventually gain trust."

I believe he uses his rude behavior to distract the public about he really want to do (and actually do). But no matter if he Achieve his goals the truth is that he:

  • Accelerate the pursuit of technological and financial independence of China and other developed blocks (aka European Union).
  • He Dynamited the Trust in USA as Reliable partner (at least with Canada and Europe).
  • Put his own people in opposite ideological extremes.
  • He cut or want to cut social expenses but don't touch the part that truly is getting the US Gov in a discontroled debt.

Trump is the beggining of the truly decay of the image of USA as indisputable world power. But, that is my POV, let's see how end all.
