My Splinterlands Journey Begins🔥💪

This is my first post in this Amazing Splinterlands Community. I'm glad to be a part of this community. I'm a newbie who just started playing the game and I would like to share how my splinterlands journey began and how it has been going so far.

How I Started
I joined splinterlands at about 14 days ago. I discovered splinterlands from posts here on hive, I realised so many people were playing the game and the so many activities about the game here on hive, for example the arts contest and some others. I decided to then give it a try since I love playing games. I went to a friend here on hive to ask him to explain how it works but he didn't have much knowledge on it. He said he doesn't play it but he gave me his link to join and start playing.

Challenges I encountered
For me Splinterlands has been very challenging and I can say it's one of the most complicated games I've played. As a new player, I didn't know a lot of things which made it quite difficult for me. I've been trying to get to bronze11 but just kept losing and losing. I joined the Splinterlands discord server and they really helped me a lot. I was given a free spellbook code by Bulldog(a popular Splinterlands player and Youtuber) I was also given some Cards by @chiboulette to aid my journey. So many other players on the server also assisted me.

Improvements
My gameplay has improved a bit, although I'm still in bronze 2 with 510 points which I was told is a good thing. I've learnt so many things from the game like how to strategically use my set of cards, what summoners to use for different situations and how to balance my cards to achieve a win. I rented some cool cards like Mylor Crowling, Kron the Undying and a few more which also helped me a lot. I haven't been able to own Quora Towershead which is one of my dream cards but I hope I'll get it really soon.
My favorite splinter is earth, although I'm still learning day by day how to master it.

Earnings and Achievements

I earned a total of about 8 sps last season from the guild brawls and everything in general. Not bad right? I opened my first chest yesterday and I earned some sps too. This season my goal is to achieve a total of 500 sps.

Journey so far
I won't say it has been an easy ride so far but it has been worth it. Thanks for all the encouragement and tactics you all have shared with me. I've also come across posts on this community that have really helped me improve my gameplay.

Shout-Out
I want to say a big shout-out to 'dark corner' guild members @oaaguy and @apparentlyethics for all the help and support they've shown me by delegating sps, dec and cards to me and by also not getting tired of answering my numerous questions.

Lastly, it's an honor to be in this community and I thank you all for all the encouragements and support you've shown me so far. I look forward to becoming a good splinterlands player real soon. My in-game name is OGGAMERSHUB.
