MCGI Meeting on Zoom with Brother Daniel |29th September|

Good day wonderful brethren and members of the MCGI community. I'm here to share what I learnt from the preaching today by Brother Daniel on Zoom.

Brother Daniel started by telling us we should seek God and his Word. If we are seeking to be righteous God will make us find him. He quoted seek him first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you.
We should do what's good and leave evil. He then used Matthew 7:7 to buttress his point saying God will make us find him when we seek him with all our heart.

He said we should stay in the light and There are some people that love staying in darkness.
John 3 verse 20.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

He said we should not be ashamed of the gospel in Mark 28 and Romans 1 verse 16. He also said we should live by the doctrines of Christ and of the gospel as stated in Philippians 1 verse 27.

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel

We were also taught by Brother Eli to always stay joyful, happy, learn to forgive and avoid anger and hatred. Because hatred can cause diseases and heart related issues. It's like a slow poison which kills. He then used Proverbs 17:22 to buttress his point.

Testimony

We were shown the testimony of a woman who was once an idol worshipper, a hardcore gambler, a drunkard and so many things. How she and her husband encountered MCGI and their lives were transformed. She's even a Chorister now in church. Is God not wonderful?

Social Experiment

A man went to three shops asking for food and surprisingly he was given by all three of them.
The shops attendants were then interviewed
First woman said she knew he was hungry so she gave him food
Second woman said something that really struck me: she said we will not take our wealth to heaven so why don't we share it with everyone.
Third woman said she gave because if she was in their shoes she would want to be given too.

MCGI Cares

They donated items to a Secondary school like cleaning items and the like.

The principal was really happy because that's the second time.
We were also taught to help everyone especially those people that are Christians just as in Galatians 6 verse 10.

MCGI is also undergoing a medical mission.

Giving free treatment to people and I was touched when they gave a pair of glasses to a couple who used to take turns to share one glasses.
