KEY POINTS
Brother Daniel opened his teaching telling us nowadays people are trying to elongate their lives but they can't because the only way a man can elongate his life is by fearing God just as in Proverbs 10:27

He also told us about people who spend their lives in vain just as in Ephesians 6:12.

He quoted Ecclesiastes 12:3 saying that while we are on earth we have a duty before the LORD which is to fear God and keep his commandments.

Ecclesiastes 7:17
He said there are people who don't follow the teachings of God hereby they die before their time.

Proverbs 1:23
If we don't follow the teachings of God we should not expect a life that is eternal.

1 John 2:5 and John 12:49
God has promised us eternal life and obedience to the word of God and fear of the LORD will prolong our days.

Brother Daniel said, nowadays if we reach 100 years we are very fortunate. Psalm 90:10
If we learn to follow the doctrines of God, we will live longer.

Ecclesiastes 8:12
It shall not be well with the wicked but it shall be well with them that fear the LORD. Followers of the word and doctrines of God should always expect something good in life.

The contention now is what are the doctrines of the word of God? The doctrines we're following is it really good? Is it really allowed by Christ? Etc.

The doctrines of Christ are orderly and decent.
1 Corinthians 14:33
We should know that God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace. We should learn to do what's intended for us and not entangle ourselves in others affairs.

Philippians 1:27
We should always learn to practise good things at all times. Another thing is, there are many laws in the Bible but let's ask ourselves if it's really for us. For example, if we build an ark; that was for Noah and not for us.

Matthew 28:19-20
As Christians, we have specific laws for us

Another thing we should know about the doctrines of God is they all have guidelines. It we hear something that's not following the teachings of Christ Jesus our LORD we should let it pass.

We should learn how to practise holiness because

1. Because practise makes perfect
2. So that we will be the best versions of ourselves
3. We should practise to build our self-esteem

Galatians 6:10
We should practise to do good as Christians.

Social Experiment
People were asked the worst anger they've had and some said anger for themselves. When we as humans fall into certain situations, we tend to blame ourselves hereby making us angry. Another reason people gave was that their partners cheated on them thereby making them very angry.

Brother Eli explained to us that our hatred can kill even if we don't use our hands, for if we have hatred inside us we kill.
Ephesians 4:31
It says we should put away every hatred and malice from ourselves. Ephesians 4:32, we should learn to love our brethren. Being kindhearted means taking away hatred and jealousy which is in us and not outside.
Therefore, the doctrines of Christ are for our inner and outer being.

Another Social Experiment was Carried out

A boy and a woman went to shops to ask for soy sauce and rice and they were given by all the shops they went to. When the people were interviewed, they said they had pity on them, that's why they gave them.

1 John 3:17
If we see a brother in need, we should always give because there are those even when they're in need they will not ask for help. We should learn at every opportunity to do good.

MCGI Cares

Brother MJ Mendoza led the MCGI Cares to go to and elementary school and give them office supplies, one-year Internet service subscription and so on. The principal- Bernadette Lumbang was very happy and grateful.
She said, Their giving will make a difference in the lives of very student.

The meeting was truly amazing and I learnt so many things which I shared above. Let's all try to attend the mass indoctrination which will take place on the 9th of October.
