Ichigo in my Art!

Hello awesome Hive learners Community👋. This is the first time I'm participating in the Creative Sunday initiative.

Well after thinking and thinking what to do for creative Sunday, I said let me take part of the "art and sketch" section because I don't fit into any other section. I didn't even think of the sharing cooking recipes because I'm not a cook😅

Although I've not drawn in a very long time so my drawing might seem a bit rusty I guess.

I decided to draw Ichigo Kurosaki carrying Rukia Kuchiki from the Bleach manga. Bankai! To us who have watched the anime 😉
I'm a huge fan of bleach so that's why I decided to draw that.

A Summary of the scene I drew from Bleach Manga

The scene I drew for some of us that don't know is when Ichigo Kurosaki Kuchiki was saving Rukia from being executed in the soul society.

Rukia was about to be executed for giving Ichigo her holo powers. The scene I drew was after Ichigo's three-day training with Yoruichi- a teacher.

She trained Ichigo for three days so he could fight the soul reaper captains- to beat Byakuya, rukia’s elder brother.

Ichigo just finished killing a giant fire phoenix that was about to Kill Rukia then carried Rukia away, that's why he's looking all cool and fresh.
I love everything about bleach from the art to the characters. The characters are complex and each have peculiar backstories and personality. Even the villains are compelling and multi-dimensional.

The Drawing Process👇

I started drawing with pencil, although I forgot to take much pics of the pencil-drawing process lol.

I then began to transfer the pencil sketch to pen to bring out the details more which is one of the hardest parts of any drawing. It is not that easy because any mistake made now can't be erased😅 I started it from the head because it is the easiest way.

Drawing Ichigo was the most difficult part because he has the most details, made some mistakes though but I guess it isn't very noticeable.

Then I began drawing Rukia, she wasn't so difficult after all. She has a small body and doesn't have much details like Ichigo which made it easier for me to finish her up in no time.

Next on, the shading. I started with a light shading of Ichigo, Rukia and the background.

I'm finally done ✨

It took me about two to three hours or so to do this😅. It's really been a while that's why it took that long. Hopefully, my next drawing won't take much time and I might also add some colour to it.

I guess it wasn't so bad after all, here's a behind-the-scenes sketch I decided to drop last for you all😉
