When you fail, you try again.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Failure is one thing that is part of life, and it has proven times without number to be inevitable. Nobody is wishing you bad, but you cannot completely avoid failing. Sometimes you can give it your all and still fail; giving it your best does not guarantee success. Failure can come with a feeling that leaves you shattered; some people were no longer the same after a particular experience with failure. I have seen people try to find their feet and get involved in so many businesses, only for the business to come crashing down.

The fear of failure has also held a lot of people back. There are people who fear failure and for that reason don't want to try out new things because of the fear of failing and questions like "What if it does not work out?" Letting failure hold you back is letting failure win, but trying again and again after failing is how you win. We all have had our experiences with failure, but some of us did not let it hold us back because after failing, we tried again. One thing about consistency is that one day you will get it right, but that can only happen when you stay consistent.

Even on the Hive platform, only the consistent people get to enjoy the platform. Many of us have a story to tell about when we started Hive and how it was, but then consistency turned things around. The failure story I want to share revolves around the world of cryptocurrency. When I first heard about cryptocurrency, I was skeptical and did not want to be involved because of how many people are getting scammed online, but many of my friends jumped on it and were busy buying meme coins. Every opportunity they get, they do not hesitate to buy a meme coin or two, and whenever we meet, they talk about how they will become big boys when it pumps.

I could not take it anymore, and I jumped on it too, a newbie's mistake. I don't do any research on the coin; anything they say to buy or invest in, I rush to do it so that they don't blow up and leave me behind. Another newbie's mistake I made was using my school fee and house rent to invest in these coins. Over time I realized I had invested over $96 as of then, and I was really proud of myself and was really hopeful, but my hope was dashed overnight. Many of the coins, like Mooncoin, Freecoin, and Safemoon, all rug-pulled almost on the same day.

I woke one morning and was seeing about $21 in my wallet. I almost lost my sanity and rushed to call my friends and the guy telling us which coin to buy. They all promised it would pump up like we looked forward to, but it never did. My money went from $21 to $15 and continued going lower, and that is how my house rent and school fee vanished into thin air. I almost lost it. I had to look for other means to raise up my school fee and house rent before the due date for payment. My dream with crypto failed, and I left the crypto space, never wanting to hear about crypto again.

But here we are today. I did come back to the crypto space after about six months, and since then I have been consistent and used my failure as a stepping stone. I learned the hard way, but it did not stop the lesson.

What kept some people off from their destiny is fear of failure. It's a serious cage.

A cage one can o my break out of if they are willing to try again after failing.
