We are only humans; the mind tends to forget sometimes.
Hello, everyone.
Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learner's featured post. We are only humans and not robots, so once a task has been added to our program, we will get it done. As humans, we tend to forget things, and sometimes we forget even important things, things that we are not supposed to forget, and that shows how human we are. Being forgetful is normal as humans, but it only becomes an issue when being forgetful becomes a habit, and there are people out there for whom being forgetful has become a habit, and it has landed them in a lot of trouble. Being forgetful is something we all engage in from time to time, no one can boldly say that from time to time things they are supposed to do does not skip their mind.
Some people need a reminder every now and then if you want them to do something for you because the moment they stop getting a reminder they forget what they are supposed to do for you.
There are people who take being forgetful too seriously and treat it like it is something that should not happen at all. I have witnessed people react wrongly to forgetfulness. I have also been forgetful one time at my workplace, and my boss's reaction left me wondering if he has never been forgetful all his life was funny how later the same day he forgot to do something that almost caused chaos in the company, and to a point I was glad he forgot something too, but since he was superior, no one shouted or raised their voice at him, but everyone showed how displeased they were through their facial expressions, but not a single person said a word.
We have all had one or two experiences with forgetfulness; some were mild, and some landed us in big trouble. Forgetfulness has landed me in more trouble than I can actually count. One habit of forgetfulness that has left my parents frowning at me all the time is forgetting I put food on the fire, and before I remember I was actually cooking, the food must have been barbequed a little, and it is the smell of burnt food that reminds me I was actually cooking something.
The one time I forgot something very important to me was just a few months back. On a Tuesday morning, I entered class, and so many of my coursemates were holding a practical manual, and they were busy filling it up. I had to rush to buy mine downstairs and rushed back to join them and fill in what they were filling in. Since I was in a hurry to fill up and submit, I forgot to write my name on the manual I bought, and I submitted it blank without my personal details.
It took time before I realized I submitted my manual without my personal details, and when I did, I rushed to meet the lecturer. He sent me away and refused to listen to my pleas.
I took quite a few steps to ensure I don't forget such important things again. Whenever I had an assignment or manual to submit, the first thing I wrote on the manual was my personal details, just in case I ended up submitting in a hurry and forgot to write them down later on.

That's serious
Very serious.
It is human to forget something as we are not God, but it is disheartening to see people who are always in this show. Aaah, forgetting to write your name on your paper will me failure unless it's a lecturer that is tender hearted. Good you are working on yourself to be more stable when it comes to things
Thank you for stopping by.
