Waking Up Early Turned Things Around.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. In life we know ourselves better than anyone; we know exactly where we are lagging and where we need improvement, but all we need to do is to admit it and work towards improving. Some people lie to themselves and act like their life is perfect and nothing is wrong with them, and they continue to lag in those aspects they know very well need improvement; they continue to suffer the consequences that come with lagging in those aspects but still won't admit it or try to improve. Until you decide to admit it and work towards improvement, those habits and things that are affecting you won't go away.

We all have habits we practise; some are good and impact our lives positively, while some are bad and only impact our lives negatively. Those that impact our lives negatively need to be worked on, or we have to let them go so that the negative impact they have on our lives will go away as well; failure to work on them or let them go means we will have to continue dealing with the negative impacts like embarrassment and getting scolded that this bad habit brings.
I was never a morning person because I stay awake almost all through the night and need the morning to sleep; for that reason, if you fix an event during the early hours of the day, like 8am or 9am, I am sure to come late, and that has caused me a lot of problems both at work and even with friends. They will always not want to schedule an event in the morning because they know they will wait for me, but they know that if the event is scheduled for a later time of day (noon or evening), I am sure to show up on time.
Showing up late to work and events caused me more trouble than I can count. I had my salary deducted, I got scolded by my boss, and I got my friends frowning at events where we were supposed to be smiling and all happy. I used to feel not being a morning person was something to be proud of until I saw how much it affected me and realised it was time for a change. I worked on how much time I spend doing work at night to enable me to have some rest before morning so that I can wake up early and meet up with all my morning schedules and still be on time.

I changed the habit of waking up late in the morning, and everything turned around. I no longer had my boss yell at me, friends were happy to invite me to events that were scheduled to be held in the morning, even my salary no longer experienced deduction, and there was a complete turn of events.
