Twitter: my most used social media app.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Some days I just look back at how things were, and I am grateful I found the Hive platform and how it has taken the place of Web 2 social media platforms in my life. Even though Web 3 platforms are making waves and are slowly taking over, I doubt they can completely kick Web 2 social media platforms out of the picture. We enjoy and spend most of our time on Web 3 platforms but still visit Web 2 social media platforms, sometimes for the fun of it and sometimes to help us cool off. If I am not on Hive, then I am definitely on one of the social media platforms; it can be WhatsApp, TikTok, Twitter (X), Telegram, or Facebook.
We use these applications for different reasons; for some people, they use them for entertainment, some use them for content creation, some use them for work, and some use them as a source of information as they learn from other users who are more learned in their field than they are. Those days I spent almost all day on Facebook, from watching videos to chatting to engaging in groups and causing a lot of nuisance to the point where I started having the thoughts of going into content creation until my account was hacked, and then I found Hive, and my love and passion for Facebook died down, and it was now channeled to Hive, and currently I spend very little time on Facebook; I can go days without visiting the app.
Currently, if I am not on Hive, then I am on Twitter (X); it is my most used and most visited social media platform. I spend most of my time on Twitter for a few valid reasons. I never thought a time would come when I would spend so much time on Twitter since, at first, the app was boring for me, but that narrative changed over time, and now it feels like I am addicted to the app and cannot go a day without visiting it. To date, when I look back at days when I tell myself that Twitter is boring and I don't find myself using it for long, I just laugh because whenever I am on Twitter now, it is very difficult to leave.
I use Twitter for so many reasons; firstly, for the entertainment that comes with it, many memes we enjoy on WhatsApp were actually gotten from Twitter (X). The set of people on the app are kind of hilarious; sometimes you see their response on a fellow user's tweets, and you are left wondering how they even came up with such a response. Some of their responses can be dark too, like real dark.
Another reason is for information; many news items I got to know about, I first learned about on Twitter even before news channels broadcast it. You can be opportune to come across it on a random tweet.
People on that X app can be so brutal when making statements. And although I find the app boring, I'm very comfortable getting my own memes from TikTok. I can't stand being dragged for something so small.
My dear X is not for the faint hearted oo especially if they drag you.
For me my most used app is Facebook there l see memes and videos that are entertaining
We all enjoy different apps and for different reasons.
Thanks for stopping by.
