To earn more down here feels impossible sometimes.

I welcome you to my blog. Every human being wants to do better, earn more, and improve their lives. Not a single person on the face of the earth wants to be stagnant; we all want to experience growth and do better for ourselves and our loved ones, but some of us live in a country where all of that is made easy, and we don't even have to stress too much to make all of that happen. All we need to do is just put in very little effort, and we start to see results because the country is set up to support citizens and make life a lot easier for them.

Then there are some of us who live in countries where the system is hacked because of corrupt leaders, and the system is set up to make things really difficult for citizens and the masses. The system is hacked such that little effort feels like nothing, and even when you give your all, the results are not equal to what you actually put in. There are countries where your efforts equal the results seen, and you will be motivated to go harder, and then there are countries where efforts don't equal results; you put in a lot of effort and only see little progress.

In my country, Nigeria, earning on your own without help from someone in the higher-ups is very difficult; without help from someone in a high position, you might never get to earn enough money to live the type of life you dream of, nor will you be able to earn above the bare minimum. With the help of someone in position, you can also be placed in positions whether you are worthy of them or not, and from that position, you will be able to earn even more than you imagined or pictured, and from there, your finances will start to flow, but in the case where you don't have anyone to vouch for you, even if you are a perfect fit for a particular position, it will still not be given to you.

In my country, "tell them you are from me" qualifies you for any position, even if you don't have the papers or proof that shows that you are qualified; just saying someone from the higher-ups sent you automatically qualifies you. Down here, you can be smart, hardworking, and knowledgeable about how to be very productive but still not be able to earn more because you lack the connection that will give you the push and the support needed to help you earn more. Down here to actually earn more, you need to know people who will give you the push needed to do so, as on your own it becomes extremely difficult to earn more.
