The user decides how they use an invention.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. As technology continues to evolve, more and more inventions continue to hit our world. The more technology evolves, the more inventions we have coming our way, and lately we can clearly see that the only thing technology is doing and is after is evolution, which means new inventions hitting our world and coming our way are not ending anytime soon. When we look around, we will see that scientists and even individuals are working round the clock looking for ways and means to make life a lot easier than it already is. We have come this far thanks to the continuous work of both individuals and organizations to see that life is made easy.

With each passing day there is a new invention reaching our world, and for every invention, life becomes a lot easier than it used to be. One time we had to go to the library to carry out research, then got the internet and laptops, smartphones, and computers, and we could do our research from the comfort of our rooms. Today we have artificial intelligence (AI), and we don't even need to stress on carrying out research ourselves anymore; we just give AI the instructions and how to go about it, and then we wait for the result and only effect corrections where necessary. This is an invention that has made life easier, and it's funny how there will be more in the coming years.

We have had so many inventors to thank for the things that we enjoy today; before the evolution of technology, we lacked a lot of things and suffered a lot, but thanks to the continuous evolution of technology, those things we used to lack have now been provided for us in so many ways, and now we have options, and we choose which one we want to make use of. 80-90 percent of inventions are actually meant for the good of mankind and for the benefit of humans, but unfortunately we humans will always end up using these same things to hurt and harm fellow humans.

The phones and laptops used to scam and rip people of their hard-earned money online were actually invented to make communication easier and bridge the gap created by distance. Today, with a smartphone and a laptop, you can keep in touch with family and friends who are miles away; you can get in touch with them instantly and whenever you want, but the same phones and laptops are used by scammers. The guns used for robbery, too, can also be used to protect and defend lives and properties, but the individual using them to rob chose to use them that way instead of using them to protect lives and properties.

Should the inventors or users be blamed when inventions are used wrongly?

Source

It is the users that should be blamed; the inventor only had in mind to be a blessing to humanity, but the user chose to make it the opposite. Because a user decides to use an invention wrongly does not mean we should trash an inventor's hard work and years of research by blaming them for every invention that is used wrongly, for every invention we see today; it took months or even years to be brought to life, which is the inventor's role. How it is used or what it is used for totally depends on the user, which has nothing to do with the inventor.
