Starting up a business from scratch and watching the business start doing well is one of the most difficult things to achieve, but many people manage to achieve such great feats and then make a single mistake that brings something they spent time, weeks, months and even years building crashing down. The truth is that it takes months of struggle to build something great and unique, but it takes a lot less than it took to build it to actually destroy everything.
How long it takes you to build does not really determine how long it will last; you can take months to build an empire, and a week later it comes crashing down. Many people make certain mistakes that destroy what they spent time building even before they start enjoying the profits or benefits that come with building something that great or unique.Building something great, good and unique is one thing, while making sure the aim of building that particular thing is achieved is a completely different ball game.
Some people are good builders but lack the ability to maintain and run what they have built perfectly. Some people feel the main thing is to build, but the truth is that both building and keeping what was built running perfectly actually count and matter a lot; some, after building, give greed a room and that way end up losing people they could have kept as customers or business partners.Gains and profits are quite important to every business and business owner, as that is the exact thing that keeps a business flourishing and going.
Every business was started with the aim of making profit; no business is out there that is not out there for profits or gains unless it is a charity organisation, but the mistake many people who are into business make is putting profits before the growth of the business. No doubt the business was started to make profits, but if your only goal in business is to make profits without a plan on how you can keep the business running and keep customers coming back, it is only a matter of time before your business comes crashing down.
Many people end up becoming very greedy once the profits start coming; they want to make even more, they want to sell a good for 3 times the price it was bought for, and that way they start losing customers, and the truth is that without customers not a single business can stand, but greed will blind one from seeing all of that and will only come to a realisation when it is already too late.
