The importance of regular checkups cannot be overemphasized.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Health, they say, is wealth, but I have seen many people fail to prioritize their health and well-being and go after wealth, but in most cases, the wealth secured was used to restore their health. As much as hustling and working for a better life is good, our health is also important because the only way we can actually have a good life is when we have good health. Many people feel like all they need to have in order to enjoy a good life is wealth and money, but that is a lie. Without good health, there is no way you can actually have a good life.
Many people have their personal reasons for not wanting to visit the hospital; for some, it can be the fear of the doctors finding out something is actually wrong with them; for others, it's the fear of drugs and injections; for some, it is because of their past experiences from their previous visits to the hospital, but the truth is that I doubt any reason that is not finance-related is reason enough for us not to make going for regular checkups a habit. Even when it is finance-related, we always have to try to know our health status because of the benefits that come with doing so.
With the knowledge of our health status, we would know what is expected of us, what we are allowed to eat in excess, what we are not supposed to eat at all, and what we should eat in small quantities. Lately I have not gone for any checkup because I am in school, but once I go back home, I am definitely going to get checked.
There are individuals who think the only time they should visit a hospital is when they are sick and must have broken down. I was one of them, but not anymore. Regular checkups help to detect the disease before it eats deep and ends up becoming chronic and difficult to treat, thereby costing even more than it would have if it was spotted on time. It is no new news that every disease can actually be handled better if it is detected on time, but when we wait until we have those signs and symptoms and probably broken down, it might have eaten deep, if not too late, thereby making it difficult to control or handle.
Many wealthy people have gone broke all because they used their wealth to try and restore their health as well as save them from the grip of a dreaded illness or disease. The importance of regular medical checkups cannot be overemphasized because if we decide to list it all out, then we can go on and on. Every patient stands a chance if the disease is detected on time and the patient is put under treatment before it becomes chronic.

You are right on point. Regular checkup is important so as to detect those hidden sickness in us. Most times, these symptoms are there and it is until we actually go check ourselves to know what's exactly is in our body and then take necessary steps to preventing something disastrous later.
You have said it all, through medical checkups a lot illness and diseases are prevented from getting worse.
Health is wealth indeed. How we play with our health only to pay with the money we've struggled hard to gain. Our health should never be ignored, not for any reason.
Emphasis on our health should never be ignored because it is very important.
