The impact of technology on agriculture.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. It is no new news how much the collaboration of science and technology has turned things around for humans; it has impacted every aspect of life, and agriculture was not an exception. The way our forefathers operated and carried out their farming activities is not the same way we operate today, as things have turned around and farming is no longer as stressful as it used to be. Today we have technological equipment that has made every aspect of farming easy, whether fish farming or poultry. Technology has impacted every aspect of agriculture.
As a result of the evolution of technology, farming and agriculture did not only get easier; they got even smarter. Technology made tools and equipment to make farming easier, smarter, and more available. Do you know that you can be at home and know all that is going on in your farm, pond, or poultry house? That is how much technology has turned things around for the good of farmers; it has made increases in production possible and has also helped to reduce wastage of resources through precision.
In subsequent paragraphs I will share with you a few examples of how technology has impacted agriculture:
Availability of farm machinery: In the days of our forefathers, they depended completely on manpower and animal power, and this caused the work done to take a longer period of time, but technology has provided us with machines for almost every farm activity, and we don't have to rely on manpower or animal power anymore.
Use of drones: In those days, no matter how big a farm was, the pesticide, herbicide, or fertilizer was to be applied by a person, but today technology has made it possible such that drones can be used to apply some of these chemicals, and humans don't need to overwork or overstress themselves again. Also, these drones can be used to monitor the farm; one does not have to walk around the farm before they know what is happening on their farm unless it's something that needs to be monitored closely.
Sensors: I visited a fish pond here at my school, and it had so much technological equipment that it notifies the student in charge of the fishpond on his phone if the water needs to be changed or not and also if the pH level is high or low; it also monitors the water temperature. The student can be in his house and will be notified, and that way, when he is leaving the house, he knows exactly what he's going to the fish farm to do.
Technology has impacted agriculture in ways too numerous to mention. With the continuous evolution of technology, I also feel we are en route to an AI-powered agricultural system.

Wow this is really nice, technology truly don change everything in farming, no be like before again
Thanks for dropping by
Technology really come a long way and very useful to make men job easier, I really don't know how things we will if we don't have anything call technology
Things would have been completely different.
I completely agree with you that current technology has made agricultural work a lot easier. In ancient times, agricultural work was very difficult but modern science has now created digital tools through which any agricultural work can be done easily and we can check the poultry farm or agricultural land sitting at home.Thank you very much for writing something good about agriculture.
Thanks for stopping by..
