The Hike in Transport That Comes with the Christmas Season.

I welcome you to my blog. The Christmas/festive season is one period of the year that announces itself, and you have no other choice than to see or notice, whether you celebrate Christmas or not. Once it is that time of the year, you will know it is that time of the year; social media and stores just find a way to get you to notice that it is that time of the year. The Christmas period is something talked about both online and offline, so there is no way it comes and goes and you will not notice it. If the weather does not tell you or remind you that it is Christmas season, then vendors online and offline will remind you that it is Christmas because they will keep doing promos because that is one of the things that comes with this season.
As a child growing up, I always wished Christmas could be celebrated twice a year, but I think what makes it special is the fact that it is celebrated once a year and we will have to wait until another year before we have another Christmas celebration. If it were twice a year, maybe it would not have this much respect and cause us to feel excited and pressured whenever it approaches. This season is one of the few celebrations that comes with so much stress, ranging from chores that will stress you physically, meeting family and other people that will stress you emotionally, and then expenses that will stress you financially, yet this period comes with so much excitement, especially for kids.
This season comes with a lot of things that stress me, but what stresses me the most is the hike. In the cost of transportation, during this period on this side of the world, the cost of transportation doubles for no good reason; the cost of fuel and car maintenance can stay the same, but the price and cost of transportation can just skyrocket with no explanation and no one willing to even say why the hike or increase in transportation. During the festive season the price of transportation will leave you shocked and amazed, and it really stresses me because there is no explanation as to why the increase.
Transportation to my hometown cost $1.3 before this festive season, but currently, as the festive season approaches, it costs $2.5, but the cost of everything required to keep a car running before the festive season is still the same. Why the increase? It has been so since time immemorial, and no one wants to even ask questions anymore, as those who asked got no answer. During this time to travel home, you just have to budget two times the normal price, and it is really disheartening.

Let’s even forget about the cost of transportation. There are literally no cars and buses anymore recently. It’s either they’re all booked or busy.
Everyone is traveling in these times and so it’s normal for vehicle owners to try to make some money off us.
