The first quarter: Not a smooth sail, but we thank God.

Hello, everyone.

Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learner's featured post. Funny how it still feels like the year started yesterday, how we were calling each other over the phone and wishing each other a happy new year, but slowly the end of the year is approaching. Many people still feel like they have time and have not started working towards the goal that they plan to achieve, but the truth is that there is actually no time, and the need to get to work cannot be overemphasized. The first quarter of the year has come and gone; it was a good one for some, it was bad for some, and it was the best for some, but in all we keep going, and those who are still procrastinating and thinking they have time need to wake up and get to work, as there is little or no time.

The first quarter is like a foundation of what the year will look like, which makes starting to work from the very beginning of the year very important because every minute counts. There are many individuals who are relaxing and thinking it is still the first quarter and they have enough time, but it is wrong, and if you are reading this and you are one of them, this is a call to action: you should get to work and don't wait until it is too late because time does not wait for anybody. Every individual steps into every new year with very high hopes and a lot of goals that they plan to achieve, but the truth is sometimes we get to achieve it all and sometimes we don't, but that does not mean they did not give it their all or try as much as they can to achieve their set goals.

So far the year has not been all good, but as always, having good times and bad times is part of life, and that is exactly how the first quarter of the year has been; there have been ups and downs, though it feels like there have been more downs considering the economy and the struggle to cope and stay afloat. I had to deal with a lot of financial challenges in the first quarter of the year, and I am hoping that things are different in the second quarter and going forward. The first quarter was indeed a tough nut to crack because at some point it felt like once you solved one problem, you got two free, and it drained me both financially, emotionally, and mentally, but somehow I managed to survive it.

My plans for the year are being achieved, though not with the speed I hoped to achieve it, as it is quite slow, and I am taking it one step at a time. The speed at which I am achieving my goals and plans might not be what I expected, but it does not stop me from being grateful for how much I have achieved and how far I have come. I planned to invest more in Hive second-layer tokens, and I have been able to do that to a point, though I have stopped because I need to find my final year project, but I am glad about how much I managed to invest in it in the first quarter of the year. The first quarter just ended, which means I still have time and can do more.
