Setting goals and working towards achieving them in 2024.

Hello, everyone.

Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. Despite all the obstacles in 2023, it was a great year indeed. Suffered losses, had wins, and most of all, achieved many goals. Last year, I had less than a thousand hive of power and set my goals to achieve at least 1,000 hive power, which I was able to achieve. Had less than a hundred followers and aimed for a hundred or more, but I got 101 before the year ended, so 2023 was not all bad after all.

We also have goals that we failed to achieve despite giving it all that we have. I aimed for a reputation of 70 but got 68 despite doing all I know. This year, we are going to go even harder and make sure all set goals are achieved and all dreams for the year are made a reality. Walking towards achieving goals might be a difficult step to take, but with strategies in place, one can get it done without even knowing it.

Here are my goals for the year 2024:

Currently, I have 1,000 hive power, which took me a lot of time to achieve, but this year will be different as I plan to achieve at least 3,000 hive power before the end of the year. Hive power gives one the opportunity to earn as a curator and gives one influence on the platform, and working towards building yours as a hive user is the best thing to do.

Last year I managed to grow my followers to over a hundred, like planned. The work is not enough, as this year I will work towards making my followers at least one hundred and fifty. Growing followers on the hive platform is a difficult thing to do, but I hope to achieve this goal by all means possible before the year ends.

I failed to achieve this goal last year, but this year is definitely going to be completely different. I plan to grow my reputation to at least 71. The higher the reputation, the more difficult it is to move on, so I am setting this goal in such a way that I know I am definitely going to achieve it.

• Staying consistent: I learned that the only way one can get things done on the hive platform is by staying consistent and sticking to the platform no matter what. Stay consistent and see yourself excel; even when things are not going well, you are expected to show up every day.

• Engagement: The level engagement on other users post can place you is quite underestimated. Many users see the hive platform as a place they can dump their posts and move on to the next, but no. You need to engage to get the attention you need; engage on and off the blockchain if possible.

• Power ups: Last year I did just a few power ups, but this year will be different. I plan to power up weekly and participate in a hive power up day every month, as that will help me achieve my goals.
