Reflecting To See How Far I Have Come.

I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learner's featured post. Some people felt like time was on their side, but it's funny how we have less than a month before we wave a final goodbye to the year 2025. The memories of ushering the year in still feel quite fresh in our memories, but in a few weeks we will be ushering in another year, and 2025 will be history and part of the past. But like we all know, it is always the past that builds the future; the things we do with the past always have a way of affecting the future, and the year 2025 was not any different. It has played its part, and soon we will be waving goodbye to the year.

The year 2025 was not a smooth sail; I had days where I was excited and felt on top of the world, and I had days where all I could think of was crying and letting how I feel out, but in all, God has been faithful. The year 2025 came with ups and downs, as expected of life. Life can never be a smooth sail; there will always be ups and downs, and the year 2025 was not any different, as I had days where I felt like I had everything under control and days where I felt like I was breaking down, but in all, I came out fighting even though it was really difficult to do so; I just had to find a way. In all I will forever be grateful to God Almighty, for it can only be him who saw me through the year and brought me this far.

In the year 2025 I have had wins, and I have had losses. I have had wins, some big and some small, but every win counts. One of the things that I will add to my 2025 highlights is my graduation from college that happened in the month of August. Getting to graduate with my mate at some point felt like it was going to be impossible; there were obstacles that were supposed to actually stop that from happening, but somehow I was able to pull it off, and today I am a graduate thanks to God. Life as a graduate feels completely different, as things are starting to change and are no longer like they used to be when I was a student.

A few months after graduation I was inducted into the Council for the Regulation of Engineering as a pupil engineer and into the Nigerian Society of Engineers as a graduate member of the association. It is not really easy to have achieved all of that in the space of a few months, but it is done, though there were challenges that could have stopped that from happening, but somehow I was able to make it happen with the help of God.

Before the year runs out I hope to achieve more things that I can add to my 2025 highlights, things that, when I remember the year, even if it was not all rosy, can still put a smile on my face. My convocation can still come up before the year runs out, which means there will definitely be more things to add to my 2025 highlights. Sometimes we feel like we have not achieved anything or are not doing enough, but a single reflection of how far you have come and an accumulation of your small wins can change that completely.
