Next Year We Will Try Again.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learner's featured post. At the start of every year we write out goals we hope to achieve, and if we successfully achieve these goals, we remember the year by those goals achieved and with those goals. But unfortunately, and for so many reasons, we don't get to achieve every goal we wrote down and planned to achieve, and sometimes the reason for that is because of personal reasons, maybe procrastination, and sometimes because of life and things beyond our control, and we are forced to either give up on those goals or hope that we can pursue them in another year.
Every year is like history repeating itself; you write out your goals, give it your all, achieve some and have some roll over to the next year. It is very difficult to have all your written goals for the year achieved; to do that, your goals for the year have to be easy to achieve, or you get all the support and time needed to make you achieve those goals, which is not always easy to come by. I had so many goals I planned to achieve this year, and by God's grace I have been able to achieve most of them, though achieving them came with a lot of difficulties and challenges, but somehow I managed to achieve them.
Then I have some goals I could not achieve, and some for personal reasons, like procrastination and thinking I had time on my side, only to realise we have less than 2 weeks or exactly 2 weeks to wave goodbye to this year, and now I am forced to roll these goals over to next year, which means I will have extra work to do if I really want to achieve these goals alongside the goals I have mapped out for the new year. I also have some goals I could not achieve or complete because I had no time to do so; I had school activities blocking the way and giving me little or no time to explore other things, and now I am forced to roll those goals over to next year.
One goal I was not able to achieve this year is to complete my UI/UX design course. I have knowledge of graphic design and have always wanted to add UI/UX design, as both can work together and give me a bigger audience, but due to school, offline work and jobs that kept me really engaged, I was not able to pull it off, and now I am forced to choose between giving up on the goal or rolling it over to next year. It is a goal I really hoped I could achieve this year, but life happened, and now I am between rolling it over to next year or just letting it go and focusing on just graphic design.

No, I cannot achieve this goal with the little time left because of the area I live in. If I can get a constant power supply, there is a chance that maybe I will be able to achieve that, but since we can go weeks with no power supply here, it makes it even more difficult to keep my gadgets charged and stay on the course like I need to. I have no other choice than to roll it over and see it through next year.

That is the spirit. If we try this year and did not get the exact thing we want we keep trying. No given up at all.
Keep pushing. We will soon be there
We cannot even give up.
Power supply in this my area too can be an obstacle to meeting up with one's goal if care is not taking. Thanks for sharing.
Here things just got bad all of a sudden but it was not always like this.
Thanks for stopping by..
Some of these goals doesn't mean we do not want to achieve them, but due to some basic needs like the power supply you said, they keep looking like we cannot. But I hope for the best for you
Sometimes things beyond our control stop us from achieving our goals.
