Know The Future Or Nah?
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Life is quite difficult to predict; sometimes you give your all and nothing goes your way, but then you see people who put in minimum effort, efforts not even up to half of what you have given, but then they end up having it all. The fact that life is difficult to predict, or should I say unpredictable, leaves us with so many questions. Does what I am doing favour me in the end? Does this choice I am about to make ruin me or work for me in the end? Do I get my dream job? Do I end up becoming what I have always dreamt of, or does everything come crashing down? Does the hustle eventually pay off?

We have so many questions about what happens in the future. I know it is not just me that wants to know how it all ends; we are all eager to see and to know what the future holds for us. We all want to know if what we are actually involved in is actually what is meant for us; we want to know if we are on the right track and not wasting our precious time. I have seen people who spend so much time on a project only to realise with time that project was never meant for them, and they are forced to leave and start all over again. That type of feeling we all want to avoid but can only be completely avoided if one knows what the future holds and what comes with it.
If there is a device that tells me what the future holds and how things will turn out, I don't think I will hesitate to buy such a device; at least that way I get answers to all the questions in my head. That way the fear of what the future holds and the fear of uncertainty will be dealt with, and I will be able to overcome that. I get to know how my choice will affect me or impact my life; I get to know everything even before they happen, and with that knowledge, I know what to do and what not to do, what to accept and what not to accept, and what to support and what not to support. Such a device will be like a guide; no more wrong choices, as I already know how my every choice will turn out.

We all know that nothing comes without a disadvantage; knowing the future and what it has in store for you will cause one to stop putting in the work. It will cause one not to have the morale or motivation they need to put in the work needed to actually make that future happen. After all, they have seen, and now they know how things will turn out, and they end up reducing the amount of work they put in. The effort to do better also reduces drastically, so to a point, I think it is best the way God made the future unknown.
