If mistakes are easily fixed, then they would not cost us so much.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learner's Featured Post. Trust me when I say one of the things that would have been both good and bad to humanity if it existed would have been time travel, something can be really and extremely good but we humans will want to take advantage of it continuously until it eventually becomes bad, or we would want to go against rules and regulations just because what we are about to do favours us and even if it brings harm to other would not care.
Time travel will definitely make mistakes cost us less and hurt us less as we have a gateway or a portal to go back in time and stop ourselves from making a mistake but some people might end up making mistakes or make doing the wrong things a habit as after all it is very easy to go back in time and undo what was done, mistakes will no longer be mistakes but will now be things done intentionally.
We have seen many movies where time travel was used to correct a mistake and stop havoc from wrecking the world, like in the Adam's project, where Adam from the future visits his younger self and ends up teaming up with his younger self to save the world. If time travel existed, it would have been one of the best things humanity would ever experience; we would get more second chances than we can count.
Mistakes are part of our lives, and to a point, that is what makes us humans as we are believed to not be so perfect after all but the truth is that there are so many mistakes that we have made in life that haunts us daily and if given another chance, we will do things differently, these mistakes leave us wishing time travel existed.
My answer to this is both a yes and a no, time travel will be a good thing in the sense that we can easily go back in time to undo our wrong acts, our innocent mistakes will no longer be able to haunt us all our lives, as we have a way to go back in time and correct them. My answer is also a no because, like I said earlier, humans will be humans, since it is now easy to fix both the wrong things we did intentionally and unintentionally, they will make doing the wrong things intentionally a habit, as all it takes is just going back in time and correcting it.
With time travel, every mistake can be easily corrected, but can we humans learn without mistakes? Sometimes it is our mistakes that push us to do better, and sometimes the mistakes made in the past serve as a guide. Now that they are no more, do we just keep making mistakes and going back to the past to undo them without actually learning from them? If time travel existed, it would definitely have both good and bad sides, and in this case, I feel the bad sides may outweigh the good sides.
Time traveling might be good for exploration, but when it's goes beyond that to altering the past, then it's unethical. Mistakes are what shapes our growth and we should learn to live with it.
You have said it all grandpa, we are meant to learn from our mistakes.
Thanks for stopping by.
Human will misuse it and evil will increase because they know they can always go back and undo their evil.
Humans will always be humans, they always end misusing things.
