From Newbie To Pro.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Going from a newbie to a pro in any niche or aspect of life requires that the individual put in so much work, and Hive is not different. As a newbie just joining Hive and trying to find your way around and planning to stay consistent, don't allow anybody to deceive you or get you to believe that your journey is going to be easy or you are going to have a smooth sail. If anyone tells you that, just know they are misleading you and are only trying to sugarcoat things and make them look easy. Going from a newbie to a pro on Hive is really not a day's job; it is something you build brick by brick. It is a gradual process because no matter how hard you try, you cannot rush it.

At some point you will feel the urge to leave because things are not going like you imagined or like you pictured, but trust me, if you are able to pass that phase, you will love it. When I first heard of Hive, my onboarder sugar-coated things for me; he told me I can just post pictures and get rewarded for it. He went as far as telling me I don't need to write many words to get rewards because then I was not even a writer, and I never believed a time would come I would be able to put 100 words together in the name of telling a story. All of that made Hive sound so easy, and I jumped in.

After I jumped in I realized things were completely different; I could not just post pictures and get rewards. The minimum word count for many communities then was 300. I found it very difficult to fit in, and then I started managing to get up to the minimum word count, but then the reward I was promised for just posting just pictures, I could not get even half of that on a well-composed post of 300 words. I felt really discouraged and left, but somehow I found my way back to Hive and since then have never left again.

So as a newbie who wants to grow on Hive, the first step is to get your mind off the rewards and focus on growing; once you have grown somehow, the rewards will find their way to you. To grow too, you must set your mind to stay consistent and engage both old and new users. The mistake many newbies make is just coming to the platform, dumping their post, and leaving, forgetting that engaging by commenting on other users' posts helps you get noticed.

Thanks for stopping by.
