Failures and how I deal with them.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. I strongly doubt if there is anyone out there who does not fear the sound of failure and does not want to talk about it or even experience it. Failure comes with a kind of feeling that words cannot express, which is why everyone does everything within their power to avoid it, but sometimes failure is inevitable. You put in the work and show effort only for your efforts not to be rewarded. One way to ensure and give failure the support it needs is to sit down and do nothing, or probably give up after encountering a few obstacles. Sitting down and doing nothing only fuels failure.

The truth is, failure hurts more when you actually give your best and still fail, but that does not mean you shouldn't do anything because you don't want it to hurt. It hurts when things do not go as planned; it breaks a person, but in some way makes the person. It takes a strong person to pick themselves up and keep going after failing. I have seen a lot of people give up after encountering failure, but giving up means letting failure win, which is not good for your personal growth.

One thing I have come to realize is that life is not a smooth sail; there are storms that you must face, battles you must fight, and sometimes you lose yourself in the storm. Sometimes you lose your battles, but what really matters is picking yourself up after all the ups and downs and keeping going. No doubt, at some point in our lives, we must have heard that voice that whispers, telling us to give up and let fate take its course, but giving up is not in the option we were given to choose from because if it were, a lot of us would have gone for it already.

These days, people use quotes as motivation to give up. It is funny, but somebody I know said he is not putting in efforts again because "what will be will be." Whether you put in effort or not, what will later happen will definitely happen. Looking at things from his own angle, I felt the need to join the team since there won't be much stress. Just relax and wait for what will happen to happen, but I just can't. To be honest, I fear the sound of failure; only thinking about it pushes me to get to work.

One way I handle failure is to tell myself that failing does not mean my life has come to an end. With this being said, I find the strength to pick myself up and go again. Failing is a part of life; it is evidence that you tried something and it just didn't go as you planned or expected, and that shouldn't be why you should stop trying. Once you let your failure define you or who you are, that is when you let it get to you. Never let failure define you; people will talk and make mockery of you, but you just have to wear it like an amour, and that way it will not get to you.

Also, I learn from past experience, and when I try again, I try to avoid the reason why I failed the other time. When they said experience is the best teacher, it was in cases like this: you know the path you treaded and failed; when you go again, you try to avoid those paths and get it right. Experience exposes you and helps you develop new strategies you can use to achieve your goals.

Another thing to do is have positive minds around, people who will encourage you and not laugh at you; people who will help pick you up and not push you down with negative words and mindsets. If you surround yourself with the right people, even when you fail, you find yourself back on track in no time, as they won't let you go through it on your own.

Thanks for reading my post.

I believe failures are there to teach lessons, it is better when one don't let it get to him or her, taking my time, learning from the fall and trying again has been my way of dealing with failure.

It is great to see that you found aways of rising again when you fall. Because failing is inevitable unless we are not trying hard enough. !LUV
