A combination of a lot of things is what brings about true happiness.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. In the world that we live in today, sometimes it feels like our only purpose on earth is the pursuit of genuine and true happiness. Everybody wants to be happy, and sometimes people are willing to give everything just to be happy. Some selfish people don't even care if certain things that they do in their pursuit of happiness would cost other people their own happiness; all they are after is their own happiness, and another person's happiness is none of their business. As much as happiness is concerned, it is something that every individual aims for and works every day towards achieving.

Happiness is a beautiful thing; it comes with a fuzzy feeling, especially when we are engaged in something we love or around people we love and care about. Happiness can also be seen as a feeling that comes when we successfully achieve our goals and aspirations. Happiness is something we all wish for as humans: a happy life, a happy family, and a job we are happy getting done. We all just want to be happy, which is why we strive so much and sacrifice so much just to ensure that happiness becomes a part of our lives, and when it does become a part of our lives, we want it to stay.

Nobody wants temporary happiness; we all want a happiness that will last a lifetime, but in the life that we live, that is nearly impossible, as there will always be good and bad days, days where we are happy, and days where we are sad, but our only prayer is to have more happy days than sad days. Our everyday strive is just to secure happiness, and we see it differently and from different angles. What you feel would make you extremely happy might not be the same thing as that of another individual, but what matters is that it makes you and them happy; it gives them that feeling that words alone cannot express.

When it comes to happiness in the world that we live in today, a lot of people feel that the only thing that can guarantee them true happiness is when they are financially buoyant, have all the money they want, and can comfortably buy anything they want, but true happiness is not all about being financially buoyant, nor does genuine happiness completely revolve around being financially stable. There are a lot of things that come together to give us the happiness that we seek. We need family, we need friends, we need certain achievements, and so many other things that come together to make us genuinely happy.

Genuine happiness is a combination of having a happy family, having loved ones around, having people who genuinely care about us, making efforts and seeing results, little achievements, and so many other things that come together to make us genuinely happy and not just being financially buoyant.

I agree with your point and i also belige that more money doesn't determine lasting happiness. Yes, having money definitely makes one to be happy and i would also want to be rich for sure but then as you have said you need happy family and people that genuinely love and care about you for you to be truly happy.

People make it look like everything we need to be happy revolves around money and wealth but it's not always so.

Well it's true . But I believe true happiness comes from within and true contentment. U may not get the love you need from your family and friends but from the most unexpected thing. Every body's source happiness is diff.

Whike I agree with your assertion of happiness being a combination several things... If we look at one of the examples you made concerning what makes a family happy, in terms of contentment, we'd see that it's the adequate provision of the basic necessities of life which can only be acquired by some level of financial security. So you see, in the long run happiness is a function of money.

No doubt having the money and wealth to do what you want and when you want comes with a type of feeling words cannot express, we need other things to complete our happiness as wealth alone cannot do it.

Thanks for sharing this. I also think having all that there is in this life doesn't give you all the happiness you need until the purpose for which you were born is discovered and fulfilled. In my opinion true happiness is finding God which not everyone would agree of course but those who have had it all in this life would tell you that reaching there isn't what it means to be happy.

Finding God is also important for anyone who wants to experience happiness, but like you said many will not agree with that but it's the truth.

Thank you for stopping by sir.

So many people chase happiness like its a destination, but you've captured its actually a mix of everyday things - family, love, peace of mind, purpose.
Money helps, but it's not the full story.
