I'm sorry to hear that times are tough right now. Never a great feeling and hard to see how and that it will get better again.

I hope you sorted out your computer, that's a real easy fix but at the very least it will take time and a little work. And we all know that especially 'time' is a very sought after commodity these days.

Hope things will improve in a hurry!

Thank you! 🙏
I did some repair runs and scans and deleted older programs.
PC is running again but I still think that the hard drive D has problems even though it didn't show any errors like before after a scan.

Is D your only drive, your start up drive? Have you checked for faulty RAM (memtest)

For the RAM memory to see if one of the sticks may be defective.

Is C full as well?

D has no RAM sticks

?? No HDD has any RAM sticks. I’m talking about the ones in the mobo starting up and operating the computer. If c the main drive isn’t full, the hdd shouldn’t be the issue causing the long start up time. My pc had issues a while ago, crashing, blue screen etc. changed the RAM and it was good. Anyhow, good luck figuring it out.

C was pretty full but I deleted a few things. Also starting is now as usual but I will check the RAM again.
