Session 10 Recap

• Fireflies Eve events happened around the party, but did not directly include the party.
• Muk-Muk has been working with his Hands, and believes himself to have been training them very well (Nat 1 on Animal Handling roll)
• John the Backpack Imp is willing to trade knowledge about Peril's father's sword for souls. He is not fussy about good/evil but they cannot have a claim on the soul already.
• Peril has been practicing with his talent a bit, by using it to phantom-play pianos, chimes, etc.
• Yuantine decided to check on the Hut after their fight with the hag
  • Qwynn decided to stake it out after trying the door and finding it magically locked.
  • Implication is that the Hag is still alive.
• The party spots a Quill Agent and two bodyguard/thugs/mercenaries escorting three down-on-their-luck residents of the Depths/Drownings, heading to the Hut.
  • Party intercepts them, beginning a fight, which is subsequently interrupted by an earthquake.
• The Quill Agent drops several pieces of information:
  • She's been looking for the party
  • She's wants them to join the Quill
  • She shows Peril in his mind (using Shared Thoughts talent) images of their headquarters; dozens/hundreds of Talents, and a fortress.
• The Agent tries to escape via activating her Gate as she plunges off the Great Span. Peril and Yuantine leap after her, and manage to get into the Gate as well. All 3 end up landing in the Quill fortress courtyard.
  • The folks in the courtyard are not uniformly dressed, and several of them wear a fashion of clothing that is completely foreign to anything that Peril or Yuantine has seen.
• MM/Q/S use the book to jump into the Mansion, and ride out the rest of the earthquake. They talk about speaking with Elaria, and possibly checking with the Bandyhand Institute about how their badges work for communication, to see if they could find a way to rescue/locate their friends.

Unsorted Notes

Quill Agent's name is Ronden Faar.
She used her psychic talent Shared Thoughts to try and convince Peril to let her go. She showed him images of the Quill fortress, and the Talents.

After the earthquake, while she was Choked and tied up, she began falling off the bridge. Peril used his Talent to push her further, and then followed her down - whereupon she used her Gate, and was portaled back to their headquarters. Yuantine just barely managed to get in as well, but MukMuk, Syl, and Qwynn didn't see them go over.

Qwynn thought of stakeouts.
Qwynn tried to open the door.

• Peril use invisible force to play random pianos, jingle chimes and such. Local tavern is now convinced it's haunted.
