Reflecting on yearly goals, not to brag about it.

Largely thanks to the change to LEO, I've found myself unnecessarily holding staked tokens and, thanks to powering those down... I've managed to nearly reach the goal I left myself back in January:

My goal this year is to double my current HP if not triple it. Currently I'm at 1862 HP, which means my base goal is to hit December with 3724 HP, and my "I did great" goal is to reach 5586 HP. Which would return me to about half what I was before I had to power down early 2024 to deal with some debt and such.

As of today's Power-Up and swap of LEO into HIVE, I'm sitting at 4,669.441 HP, meaning that my original goal of simply doubling my January HP values has been exceeded, with 3 months left to go in the year.

Now, I don't expect to hit my "triple it" value of 5,586 HP before Dec 31st, since as the chart above shows... the vast majority of this win was from Leo going bananas and my decision to convert it to HIVE.

While LEO definitely feels like a token with long-term viability, I'm always going to bet most on HIVE itself, and for the paltry amount I spent on those tokens, this boost to my HP was more than worth it. This has been an easy win.

I've not been blogging as much as I had hoped or intended to, but that's life. I'm still here, still plucking away when I can, still invested in the folks I follow and the communities I'm part of.

I'm not too fussed about my author rewards being garbage lately, as I'm confident that as soon as I have more time, I'll be back to posting frequently. In this month alone, I've done more than the prior four months combined, so... that's pretty good, I think. And, it shows me that I'm regaining a tiny bit of free time to sit at my PC which is also a big win. I have several draft posts in my local Obsidian vault waiting for more tweaks before I publish them, and I'm excited to do so.
